This will be a relaxed, interactive & creative space to do just that, as an antidote to a culture which often fears our true feminine power and its liberation. Who for: Women and girls 16yrs+

3.00pm IWD Normanton Women’s Choir with songs to ‘Celebrate our HERstory’. Choir leaders Jo Lewis & Beth de Lange, thanks to University of Derby Community Fund.IWD Derby Committee & Raffle drawDeosil & Black Peacock Tribal-style Bellydance tribes partner to perform a set of improvised dances using this feminine and powerful global art form. With audience dance-along finale.

Writing HER Story Allison Prince & Jet Black. 'Bird' - a new spoken word performance, being showcased for IWD, written and performed by Allison Prince, based on her life story. Followed by an invitation to each woman to explore writing her own story, facilitated by Jet and Allison. Who for: Women
