Company contact person: Rianne SchutCompany name: European Business Development GroupPosition: HR ManagerStudent assignment: Internship

Usability/satisfaction client:‘I enjoy having trainees from IBL’ says MS Schut. ‘They speak different languages and are used to working with other cultures. Sometimes you have to deal with unexpected situations. Or surprising reactions from people. IBL students don’t get alarmed by this. They are also trained in marketing, communication and commerce. Personally, I really enjoy working with IBL students. It’s a course that demands serious study because you really have to be proficient in different languages. So the Internships sometimes also lead to employment. Our marketing coordinator, for example, is a former IBL student.’

Usability/satisfaction client:‘Elestor is a small company specialized in electricity storage’ says Mr Koud. ‘Master of International Business student George van Altena has been doing a learning and working track with us since 2014. He has been helping us by performing a market analysis and by giving strategic advice about our target markets, so we can offer our best product market combinations in several countries such as India and Indonesia. After a brief training, he was soon able to work quite independently due to his commercial background. We are very pleased with his work and embrace these learning and working tracks for Masters students. We intend to hire more students in the near future.’
