INTERNATIONAL MASTER IN ASEAN STUDIES Assessed by: @ ASIA-EUROPE INSTITUTE, UNIVERSITI MALAYA The International Master in ASEAN Studies (IMAS) of the Asia-Europe Institute (AEI), Universiti Malaya is a one-year, full coursework postgraduate programme conducted on a modular basis. This programme provides students with an in-depth understanding of the ASEAN region, one of the most vibrant and fast developing regions in the world. Students are exposed to a broad range of topics ranging from history, society and politics to economy and security issues in the ASEAN region that are complemented with elective courses on the European Union. Our courses are taught by well-known experts from Asia and Europe. Programme Duration: Minimum – 2 semesters + 1 special semester Maximum – 8 semesters Mode of Study: Coursework (full time) Semester Intake: Semester 1 (October) and Semester 2 (March) of the academic year.

    The International Master in ASEAN Studies (IMAS) of the Asia-Europe Institute (AEI), Universiti Malaya is a one-year,full coursework postgraduate programme conducted on a modular basis.

    Academic Qualification: Bachelor’s degree (CGPA 3.00 and above)

    Language Requirements:International Applicant - If the applicant’s degree is from a university where the medium of instruction is not English, a minimum score in one of the following standard English Language tests is required:
