Fred joined the Global Health & Nutrition Group of Eridania Beghin-Say in 1999, and in 2002 as Research Fellow and Manager Nutritional Sciences Europe Cargill.Today he is program leader “HealthFood Innovation Management” atthe Nutrition and Toxicology Research Institute, Dep. of HumanBiology, Maastricht University, The Netherlands.

In 2008, Ulrich founded the Pana-viz Control GmbH, a consultingcompany for aspects about packaging and the German packaging laws.
