FIGOwilldevelopaprioritizedresearchagendabasedonthebroadneedsidentifiedbytheFIGOrecommendations,createaresearchnetworkwhichwillworktowardsconductingresearchaimedataddressingprioritygaps.ThethreeyearworkplanfortheFIGOHyperglycemia inPregnancy(HIP)Groupisrelativelyshortforthedevelopment,funding,conductandanalysisofamajorindividualresearchproject(s).Nonetheless,theFIGOResearchNetworkwillachievesomeshort-termgoalstodemonstrateitskeycoordinatingroleinshapingtheglobalresearchagendaregardingHIP.TheInternationalFederationofGynecology andObstetrics(FIGO)InitiativeonGestationalDiabetes
