The International Economic Summit (IES) is a hands-on, problem based project whose global scope touches on solving the problems of each country’s infrastructure, health and education. The goal of this project is to enhance the students respect for that which is different and awareness of globalization upon the economy, foods, cultural beliefs, language, music. The IES is an excellent program that can be used at any high school grade level across the curriculum, it offers incisive knowledge of daily life, specifying health care, infrastructure and education. The IES not only offers general global knowledge but it affords the student the research powers to go into any given point in depth (i.e. health care, education and infrastructure). It brings an informed knowledge of various ethnic communities which instills a respect and understanding for the global differences between ethnic and racial groups. Table of Contents I. Include physical characteristics, such as rivers, lakes, mountains, plains,

valleys, or islands. Label surrounding countries, important cities, harbors,

states, and provinces. In addition, label important factors of production

using some type of key or legend.
