IESC Project Summary: Egypt Egypt CARE 2H09 Deployed 500 CMPCs in 20 schools in Upper Egypt, total of 13,000 students to benefit, 56% girls Blog highlight: Somehow, on schedule, 500 Intel-powered classmate PCs and 20 teacher laptops have been configured and installed in mobile carts in 20 schools.   • 20. IESC Project Summary: Kenya2H09Initial project visits to Thika and Rusinga Island . The KagenoProject on Rusinga features mobile lab with CMPCs and solarchargers. Karibu Centre in Thika has a pre-school for children fromnearby slums and a program for teenage mothers.
