Complementary Liberal Arts

These are additional liberal arts courses that complement the student’s major. Specific requirements determined by degree program or school. These will be in the Academic Catalog for AY 13-14. In many cases these are LA courses already required for the major tagged to as CLA courses. They are available on ICC website under documents.

Examples include: School of Business, Legal Studies – PHIL 10100, 20300; POLT 10100; SOCI 10100Park, Emerging Media – COMP 17100, 17200, 20200H&S – all majors have the same options – 2nd major, minor, 2nd language, 12-credit self designed package. There is also an additional 3-Cr diversity req.
