McFeetors Hall Great-West Life Student Residence was built in 2009 and offers modern, air-conditioned dorm-style units with a private washroom and common entertainment and lounge areas, study areas, and laundry facilities. Available room options include single and double furnished dorms. A nutritious meal plan with options is also included.
Other residence options include Lions Manor dorm-style apartments and the Balmoral Houses, which feature shared common areas with private bedrooms.

Scholarships for International StudentsSpecial Entrance ScholarshipsThese scholarships are given to international high school students studying at a Canadian high school or students studying abroad in a school with a Canadian curriculum. FULL-TIME PROGRAMS
Academic/Pathway English ProgramThis 14-week program prepares students to enter Canadian universities, colleges, and high schools. Our program targets all four language areas: reading, writing, listening, and speaking. Students improve their ability to read academic materials, write essays, take notes, listen to lectures, and give presentations.
With the successful completion of the highest level of the Academic/Pathway English Program, students will:
• Meet the English Language Proficiency Requirement for
UWinnipeg’s undergraduate degree programs and select graduate programs
• Earn six university credit hours that can be applied to further study at UWinnipeg
General English ProgramThis 14-week program enables students to advance their English language skills for personal and professional development. Our in-depth program focuses on developing fluency in speaking, listening, reading, and writing. Students participate in a variety of seminars such as Business English, TOEFL Preparation, TOEIC Preparation, Conversation, Listening, and Pronunciation.
Please Note:Students entering either program at a low–intermediate level will begin in the Foundations Stream of the program.
Foundations English ProgramThis 14-week program focuses on integrated skills. The morning classes have a strong emphasis on speaking, vocabulary, and grammar, which are integral to English development. Afternoon classes focus on grammar and reading skills. Our program prepares students for further studies in the General and Academic Streams.

These programs are for students who want a short, intensive English language learning experience to help advance their educational or career goals. These programs are designed for accelerated communication development with classes that focus on the core skills: listening, speaking, reading, and writing; conversation classes to build vocabulary; and workshops that improve speaking ability and focus on a variety of cultural and academic topics.

With roots in historic Wesley College, The Collegiate offers an exceptional high school program to students in Manitoba and from over 30 countries around the world. OPPORTUNITIES TO EXCEL
Seamless Admission to The University of WinnipegAll Collegiate students who meet the entrance requirements for UWinnipeg based on grade 12 interim marks will receive an acceptance offer in January. Seamless students receive their first choice in University course selection and timetable options.
Dual Credit CoursesDual credit courses are introductory first-year university courses for which qualified grade 12 Collegiate students may enroll. Upon successful completion of a dual credit course, students will receive the designated university credit and the high school credit for the course.
University Foundation ProgramInternational students who have earned a high school diploma in their home country, but do not meet university entrance requirements can complete the Foundation Program at The Collegiate. Students will complete five grade 12 courses to earn a Manitoba high school diploma, and upon successful completion students will be eligible to apply to universities or colleges.

Accelerated StatusStudents who have earned at least 22 credits and completed at least one credit at the grade 12 level may apply to accelerate their university program while simultaneously completing the courses necessary to meet high school graduation requirements.
Course OfferingsThe Collegiate offers a wide range of compulsory courses including math, science, and English, as well as elective courses such as digital media, band, coral or drama. Visit our website for a complete list of the grade 9, 10, 11, and 12 courses offered.
Academic YearThe Collegiate closely conforms to the UWinnipeg academic year, providing students with a more adequate preparation for university studies. The Fall, Winter and Spring sessions offer both day and evening classes.

Project Management Diploma ProgramThis program provides an analytical framework coupled with essential project management tools for budgeting, procuring, scoping, modeling, measuring, and reporting for a broad business application. Given the challenges facing business today, organizations are better positioned to thrive by hiring talent that can drive the business solution process and strengthen growth opportunities.
Public Relations Marketing Management Diploma ProgramThis program will prepare students to work as a public relations and/or marketing practitioner in a corporate or not-for-profit environment. The courses provide a broad foundation of PR and marketing-specific knowledge and skills with an emphasis on best practices, and current and emerging issues. The PR and marketing sectors are areas with high growth potential and considerable opportunity.
Graduates of this program will receive both the Public Relations Diploma and the Management Certificate.
Internet Systems Specialist Diploma ProgramThis program provides exposure to a wide variety of Internet-related technologies including front end client-side (XHTML, CSS, JavaScript, Flash, Photoshop), back-end programming, and databases (PHP, ASP.net, Java, MySQL), as well as the topics that tie them all together (Linux, Windows, Apache, TCP/IP, security, and more). The course is capped off with a cumulative e-commerce project and work experience placement with one of many participating companies and business.
Network Security Diploma ProgramThis diploma program blends hands-on learning with theoretical elements of IT security. Graduates will have an in-depth knowledge of, and training in, various protocols, network standards, designs and security solutions. The program assists graduates in preparing for the CISCO CCNA designation, an internationally and industry recognized professional certification.
Graduates of this program receive the Network Security Diploma, an Information Assurance Certificate and a Management Certificate.
Managerial & Financial Leadership Diploma ProgramThe new Managerial and Financial Leadership Diploma Program emphasizes sustainable business approaches within a comprehensive financial framework to develop individuals who can solve complex business problems and improve organizational performance in an ever-changing business.
