BBA summer training project.

I am grateful to my internal guide Mr. Saroj K Mohanty who is a Business partner

North zone. Who has been a constant source of inspiration for the intellectual stimulation

& guidance. His timely advice & very illuminating discourses on the subject of this

report & related areas made this report possible.

I own my profound respect to Mrs. Harwinder kaur, my project guide and director Mr.

J.P. Varshany and express my deep sense of gratitude and indebtedness for their

inspirations, valuable and scholarly guidance, imperative suggestions and personal

attention at each stage of the work. Their gamut of knowledge dedication towards

Preface

Practical training is an integral part of management studies. One cannot merely rely upon

the theoretical knowledge. It is to be accompanied by practical knowledge for it to be

fruitful. However class lectures must be correlated with practical training in the company

has a significant role to play in the subject in business management. To develop

managerial and administrative skill in future managers have to enhance their analytical

skills, it is necessary that they combine their classroom learning with the knowledge of

real business environment.

I consider myself lucky to get my summer training in Birla sun life insurance company

ltd underwent 40 days of training. It helped me to get a practical insight into the actual

business environment and provided me an opportunity to make my management concepts

clearer. It is difficult to elaborate everything, which I learned during the training

however, I have endeavored too many, comprehensive picture of details about working in

the following pages. I have accumulated the desired information through personal

observations, study of documents and discussions.
