The UN model is a single isolate needle valve designed for superior shut off duties in essential
instrumentation applications. The needle valve is a well-established design with a metal primary body sealing
and a multi-ring piston style stem packing. The UN can be configured with various connection types in an
array of materials for services pressures up to 10,000psi and is CRN registered, demonstrating compliance to
MSS SP-105 and so compliance to ASME B31.3 as well. Standard configurations are readily available for fast
delivery (See Note 1).

2. CRN Registered:
The suffix “-MSS” in the part code signifies the product is CRN Registered and in compliance with MSS-
SP-105, Instrument Valves for Code Applications. The product is identical to the standard UN range;
however, the CRN version is supplied with the subsequent variants/additions:
▪ Adjusted pressure ratings to suit the MSS SP-105 requirements, See note 3
▪ 100% factory acceptance testing to MSS SP-61 as specified in MSS SP-105
▪ Product Marking/Tagging in accordance with MSS SP-25 as specified in MSS SP-105.
3. For certain configurations, the maximum design pressure of 10,000 psi has been reduced to comply with
the requirements of the CRN registration. Shown in the table below are the pressure temperature ratings
for the standard configurations of the UN valve listed in note 1. Additionally, ratings are shown for Duplex
configurations with NPT connections to demonstrate the elevation of working pressures when
configured in alternative materials. For pressure temperature ratings of other configurations please
consult the factory.
4. When using the valve at elevated or low temperatures for long durations the gland adjuster enables the
operator to ensure the sealability of the stem packings are maintained during this service. Please refer
to the installation and operating manual for assistance in how to use the adjustable gland feature.
5. A fire safe version is available on request. For this configuration, the stem seals are graphite as standard
and the bonnet and ingress seal are replaced with a fire safe version and a 316 SS metal seal ring,
respectively. In standard materials the maximum pressure rating for this option at 40°C is 7.000 psi. For

The U2VG model is a single block and bleed, two valve manifold. The slim line design enables the safe shut
off or removal of process critical instruments by isolating the pressure from the main pipeline using the first
valve in the manifold and allowing controlled venting through the second valve. The needle valve is a well-
established design with a metal primary body sealing and a multi-ring piston style stem packing. The U2VG
can be configured with various connection types in an array of materials for services pressures up to
10,000psi and is CRN registered, demonstrating compliance to MSS SP-105 and so compliance to ASME B31.3
as well. Standard configurations are readily available for quick delivery (See Note 1).

The PB model is a 3-piece single isolate floating pattern ball valve that provides superior shut off with low
operating torques. The PB design is well-established, utilising “drop in” seats for flexible configurations and
easy maintenance. The PB valves can be configured with various connection types in an array of materials
for services pressures up to 6,000psi and is CRN registered, demonstrating compliance to MSS SP-105 and so
compliance to ASME B31.3 as well. Standard configurations are readily available for quick delivery (See Note

The PSB model is a panel mount 3-piece single isolate floating pattern ball valve with that provides superior
shut off with low operating torques. The PSB design is well-established, utilising “drop in” seats for flexible
configurations and easy maintenance. The panel mount PSB valves can be configured with various connection
types in an array of materials for services pressures up to 6,000psi and is CRN registered, demonstrating
compliance to MSS SP-105 and so compliance to ASME B31.3 as well. Standard configurations are readily
available for quick delivery (See Note 1).

The UB and UE models are a 2-piece single isolate floating pattern ball valve that provide superior shut off
with low operating torques. The UE utilises a compact hexagonal section body, whereas the UB is square for
