What is an institution?-Organisation or company, public or privately owned that produces and/or distributes media products.

Institutions involved with Horror Movies.-There are very many big names in the horror movie industry to date, which has become one of the highest grossing film genres. -Twisted Pictures has one of the most popular horror movies series that has seen several sequels over the past decade: The Saw Series. Whilst franchises such as Twisted Pictures are primarily focused towards producing horror movies, many companies have also experimented and produced horror movies, such as Universal Pictures, which has produced films such as the American Pie series and The Fast and The Furious series, producing films such as Dawn of the Dead, and Sequels to the Living Dead series. -Twisted pictures are a recent movie company, having only been present in the horror industry for the past decade, since roughly around 2003. -Other movie companies such as Hammer productions are far more prestigious and well known throughout the world due to their huge success with dozens of films in the past 80 years, producing huge movies such as the curse of Frankenstein, and the Dracula movie.
