But it's easier said than done. Let's face it. The world can be a scary place. For kids. Adults, too. Luckily, there's Allison Edwards! Allison is a Vanderbilt professor, a master counselor who specializes in working with children, and author of Why Smart Kids Worry... and What Parents Can Do to Help. This Sunday, she visits Woodmont for two hours; first to speak to elementary school children and then to work with parents. Join us! Whether young or old, there's some-thing for everyone. All are welcome! The Deadline to Submit Nominations to the Nominating Committee for Leadership Roles is January 31 The 2015 Nominating Committee serves a one year term and has the responsibility of selecting nominated church members to be elected by the congregation for leadership positions. This year, we will be electing one Treasurer, three At-Large Board Members, five Elders, and twenty-five Deacons. Please give your consideration to individuals you would like to serve in these roles. Before submitting your nominations, it may be helpful to read the responsibilities and qualifications of the leadership positions. Life Groups - A 2015 Area of FocusWoodmont currently has an amazing Small Groups ministry. This year weare adding Life Groups consisting of 6-12 people who meet weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly to experience life together while incorporating thefollowing elements: Prayer, Spiritual Growth, Fellowship and Mission.

We are looking for Life Group leaders who arewilling to recruit group members and facilitatemeetings. Small group ministries at any churchare completely dependent on having committed,

proactive leaders.
