We define purpose in all we do. Therefore, a common question in our dailies is ‘what do we want to achieve?’ With this, we are able to decide if an opportunity or task is for us or not. When it is apparently for us, we start with end in sight. Purpose definition help us stay focused and not lose sight of our destination. This we call the MPL way!

It has been an impressive period and we look forward to taking delivery of four 6th generation 200-250hp Remotely Operated Vehicles (ROV) and our future-proof 250t Crane, 120 Man accommodation light construction vessel, The African Inspiration from the enviable Norwegian Shipyard, Havyard. We are inspired to take Local Content further!

Human ResourcesUpdate

Human resources within an organization has been known to contribute greatly to its value, thus the saying by many that ‘Human resource is the greatest asset’.

The HR Department deals with the management of people in MPL. Responsibilities that come with this are hiring, retaining and optimizing the performance of employees.

The phenomenal growth of our staff strength to 300 persons have necessitated continuous improvement of our entire HR framework.

Including but not limited to the following: • Standardize policies and strategies of the

company • Align the HR goals to those of the company • Improve Performance Management Process

to ensure effective and objective appraisals/ feedback and reward

• Ensure a system where every staff member have their goals and objectives aligned to those of MPL

• Employee Incentive Scheme

In order to have employees feel a true sense of ownership in MPL and to further align goals of individuals with those of the company, Management have decided to implement an Employee Incentive Scheme that will see ownership of shares in the company vested in staff.

To this end, ownership of a minimum of 5% of the issued share capital of MPL will be devolved into a pool, which will be shared amongst members of staff based on Share Award/Option Plan. KPMG Consultants are helping us on this lofty scheme.

PERSONNEL DEVELOPMENT UPDATE MPL is committed to the continuous improvement in performance of her employees and actively seeks information and events that will hone and keep their skills and knowledge up to date.

In furtherance of this, MPL have continued to invest in the training of her personnel, increasing her spend on training by 100%.

Our ROV and Sub-Sea Engineers careers are based on IMCA guidelines and they are appraised at the end of each trip to our offshore locations.

Appraisal sessions are held with the Project and Operations Managers where support is given where required and encouragement to those whose performances are deemed adequate.

These appraisal sessions lead to various training and Career Development Decisions taken in conjunction with the personnel involved.

Working attachments are arranged by MPL for staff to gain relevant hands-on experience and achieve exposure working in different partner locations

To this end, various members of the Sub-sea Engineering and Well Services Teams have had spells with both PDI, Forum and Well-Flow in the UK. This has proven quite beneficial towards enhancing their knowledge and confidence.

FINANCE AND ACCOUNTS UPDATE KPMG Audit 4 The Accounts Department of MPL has achieved a lot since its reorganization in 2009. Four years ago, we took a strategic decision to engage KPMG, one of the world’s top four audit firms, to conduct the statutory audit of our books.

Audit Number 4, for the financial year ended June 30, 2013, was concluded in record time - the accounts were ready within 2 months. Kudos goes to the Accounts Team led by Toibat Animashaun.

QUARTERLY ACCOUNTS REVIEWSThe Unit aims to achieve a quarterly review of our books by KPMG. This will give greater credence to our quarterly reports and corporate governance.

STARTING IFRS In line with International Financial Reporting Standards, MPL have started working with KPMG towards converting our accounts to the new reporting format from the 2014 accounting year-end.

We are inspired to do it better, providing accurate and reliable accounts to international standards!

Supply Chain Management encompasses the planning and management of all activities involved in sourcing, procurement, conversion, and all logistics management

activities. Importantly, it also includes coordination and collaboration with channel partners, which can be suppliers, intermediaries, third-party service providers and customers. In essence, supply chain management integrates supply and demand management within and across companies. Supply Chain Management is an integrating function with primary responsibility for linking major business functions and business processes within and across companies into a cohesive and high-performing business model.

Our operation therefore, is more than just moving people and materials from one point to the other. In fact, getting people and materials there is the end of a lot of complicated yet predetermined cycle of events. The process follows a simple, but well thought out sequence of Planning, implementation and feedback/learning processes.

PLANNING THE MOVEMENTS Like a popular adage goes; failing to plan is planning to fail. As stated above, the material and personnel movements start with a systematic planning of the sequence of events.

For crew movement, a rota is drawn up for all personnel on our worksites and the vessel marine crew. The rota contains their names, dates of joining and coming off from each location or vessel. This is done to cover a period of at least 6 months. The information from the rota is further distilled down to a monthly crew movement register and finally to a weekly movement planner. The Rota essentially serves as input data for all the other

arrangements that goes into making the personnel transfer successful. Arrangements such as flight and hotel bookings are done using data from the rota.

It is important to stress that the rota is not cast in stone. As operations change, either due to client’s demands, external or internal fallouts, the rota is adjusted accordingly. This further triggers a series of changes to all previous arrangements made in that regard e.g. travel plans and hotel bookings.

The whole planning stage is finalised by sending this to all the concerned personnel who should either know, execute the plans or supervise the operations.

In material handling, the planning process starts from the point of procuring the materials. The spares are identified based on the systems where the material requisition came from, giving each material a unique request and item numbers. This identification system helps to make the shipping on-point and system specific as it gives the process an element of traceability.

GETTING THE PEOPLE AND MATERIAL THERE IMPLEMENTATION STAGE Armed with the all the required information, the logistics team organize the personnel movements using our meet & greet procedure.

The procedure requires that travellers are given prior information such as the names, pictures and phone numbers of the protocol officers that will receive them before arrival. Our traveler’s handbook also come in handy as it goes beyond what we have arranged, it describes the Nigerian airport situations, important contact numbers and what to do in the case of an emergency.

brief them using our security briefing form as a guide and drive them straight to the hotel.

The scenario is not always as described above; cases of unplanned operations do come up e.g. delayed flights, cancelled helicopter flights, late arrival etc. Our strategy have always been to intervene as these issues arise by; immediately notifying all the concerned parties of the new development and proposing a new cause of action to be taken. We have managed to achieve seamless operations so far because of the can-do spirit of the staff members and the continuous support of management especially with regards to provision of required resources.

For materials transfer, a tripod cycle exists, namely the dispatchers from Lagos; where the materials to be sent offshore come marked with proper documentation showing a unique manifest number for each project/system. Our Onne Operations Base team then receive and dispatch these materials assigning a different manifest number to show the new origin. The materials are received offshore and feedback sent in.

FEEDBACK All materials sent out are acknowledged by the recipients, who give feedback on the quality, variations (if any) and completeness of the materials received. This helps the team to close out the cycle, improve our performance and assess our vendors.

Various tools are also used to monitor the effectiveness of our crew change process. Forms such as safe driving monitoring form and crew change register which every person transferred must sign with a column to leave his remark, security briefing forms etc. we are inspired to do it better!

Operational Demands

In March 2001 two Bankers and a Computer Scientist came together to develop a vision for a new company, Marine Platforms Limited (MPL)

was born. A company that would provide Well Services, Subsea Solutions and Vessel Chartering in the Upstream segment of the Nigerian Oil and gas industry. Thirteen years later, with an annual revenue of over $100 million and annual growth rate of 55%, MPL have become one of the fastest growing Oil and Gas Service Companies in Nigeria.

Driven by integrity, humility and the desire to make a difference by the founders, the company created a strong culture and value system that prioritized the pursuit of excellence. This is indicative in the company’s vision to be the best indigenous Nigerian oil and gas service Company with global capabilities.

Having been commended by various International Oil companies (IOCs), Multinational companies and government agencies as an unusual Nigerian Company, this paradigm shift from the norm required a robust long term strategy and clear cut implementation to build the MPL brand inside out. This was by no means an easy mission as MPL

faced several challenges on several fronts such as acceptance by IOCs, high interest rates from banks, lengthy tendering process, high cost of Oil and Gas equipment and distrust by Technical Partners/ Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM).

To build this brand reputation, the founders came up with a 5 yearly strategy spans and brand phases. The first strategy span was brand positioning followed by brand acceptance and the current span is brand trust. Brand value grew stronger along the spans with the Company’s capabilities improving.

Brand Positioning - Industry Awareness (2002 to 2007) To successfully change the way IOCs look at Nigerian companies, the founders started by defining the purpose of being a client-centric and service oriented company based on strict adherence to quality and commitment to high safety standards.

The decision not to go for less complicated services which could be tagged as low hanging fruits in the oil and gas industry like other indigenous companies at the time was the brain child of well services, subsea solutions and vessel chartering. The promoters were fully aware that it will take material resources and time to make an impact in the high barrier to entry service segments chosen.

During this phase MPL focused on building relationships with reputable international companies to provide technical support and equipment for selected service offerings. Such audacious quest has seen the company form relationships with Well-flow International, Helix ESG, Siem Offshore, Forum Technologies, Wright Well Control, Rem Offshore, Havyard, Norshore and Ceona. These initiatives shaped the future of the company and strengthened the MPL brand.

Brand Acceptance - Productivity Management (2007 to 2012) The next phase was to gain acceptance by the IOCs. Therefore, acquiring in-depth knowledge of the industry was very important. Realizing that

timely delivery of quality service and safety are key elements to success in the oil and gas industry, our first main contract was to provide Well-Bore Clean-Up services to SNEPCO (Shell Deep-water) on the Bonga Field in 2007.

While providing the service, we won the bid to provide Inspection Repair and Maintenance (IRM) contract to Stardeep Chevron on the Agbami field. This service segment was exclusive to globally recognized brands like Oceaneering, Subsea 7, Aker, Saipem and Technip. It was by no means an easy task as most IOCs were reluctant to hand over a critical part of their operation to a Nigerian company. The perceptions was shattered when MPL delivered the service safely, efficiently and interestingly on budget.

When MPL owned multipurpose vessel the African Vision with Nigerian flag berthed at the Eko Base Quay side in Lagos, it was another defining moment. On contract award of the Bonga IRM contract, we were ready to go from day one.

Committed to ethical conducts, good corporate governance and high level of transparency, MPL made a payment of N1.5B to the Nigerian Customs and Excise being full duty payment on our newly acquired vessel, African Vision. Such transparency and disclosure of our transaction are in line with Foreign Corrupt Practices Act of 1977 (FCPA) of the USA, UK Anti-Bribery Act and TRACE. In our relentless pursuit of quality and to assure clients of our systems and processes, MPL obtained the Standard Organization Nigeria (SON) ISO 9001 quality management system certification. A year later and realizing that the services we provide are not geographically bound thus global quality certification was necessary. MPL became the first Nigerian company to get DNV ISO 9001 and OHSAS 18001 certification.

To further position our company, we rolled out SAP enterprise solution and engaged KPMG as our Auditors since 2009. Maintaining client relationship based on trust and familiarities, MPL have hosted and sponsored networking events like the Open House which was held at the Civic Center Lagos, The Hobie Boat Race held at Lagos Yacht Club. In 2013 when we participated at the NOG conference in Abuja, MPL emerged the best Nigerian oil and gas company of the year.

Brand Trust - Innovation Management (2012-2017) In this next phase of strategy, MPL focus is to transform itself from a service company to a Solutions Provider. The conceptual stage of this period was named project Cras by the CEO, Taofik Adegbite. Cras is a Latin word meaning Tomorrow.

‘Imagination and foresight of years past are our MPL of today. Today’s imagination and foresight will be tomorrow’s history’ added the CEO. Moving from expense side of clients balance sheet to the revenue side require detailed knowledge of their business. We have to create new offerings, new solutions and new thought process to meet their demands. This means that we have to reduce their operational cost and increase their crude productivity either by co-creating or incubate in-house solutions.

This require pulling knowledge and resources we have gathered over the years in the three main services we provide. Such convergence of our services paid off on the 24th of July 2013, MPL successfully conducted acid stimulation operations from our MSV on the Agbami field. We were able to increase crude production significantly from each well. It brought tremendous savings to Chevron who would have used the conventional Semi-Submersible or Drill-Ship for this operation.

Not resting on its laurels MPL continue to plough back profit to further build human and material capacity. The African Inspiration, a $112m dollar multipurpose vessel, with 250t crane, over 1200m2 free deck space and 120 man accommodation is currently being built by Harvyard in Norway.

Recently, we shortlisted 10 indigenous green horn engineers to be part of the vessel build in Europe from start to finish. In the course of providing subsea solutions to clients, we have successfully trained over 30 Nigerian ROV pilots in line with IMCA certifications. Furthermore, we are currently building a 10000m2 Operations Base at the FLT Onne area of Port Harcourt. On completions the Base will have accommodation for personnel, ROV test tank for FAT/SIT, 1000m2 warehouse and medical clinic to cater for MPL personnel and host community.

We have started conceptualizing our next strategy span 20017 – 2022 which revolves round Financial Re-engineering, Research and Development.

Key component of MPL’s success has been its people. With the founders average age of 43 years and general staff average age of 28 years, this young workforce have sacrificed so much to implement the strategies and shape the MPL brand.

Such sacrifices will not go unrewarded as MPL will share its wealth with its employees through the Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP). It will not be wrong to say that MPL’s greatest competitive advantage is not around technology but its people. Technology can be copied by competition while cloning people is still years away!

A Vision“

Marine Platforms have striven to exceed expectations by delivering alternative solutions and visionary services to the subsea segment

in Nigeria. It is well recognized where more input and control can be injected and better product can be offered. The African Vision is a prime example of what is achievable. The story started some time ago, but finally materialized when the African Vision was handed over to MPL on the 23rd March 2012. Formerly operating as a Platform Supply Vessel (PSV) with IRM capability in the North Sea. The hull and superstructure were relatively new and capable to host the many upgrades, ranging from complicated addition of the cranes, mezzanine deck and helideck, to smaller improvement items such as the galley area and toilets!

After completion of both the internal and external conversion works at the shipyard, the vessel then set sail towards Aberdeen to commence the 2nd phase of the preparations, this included, collection and mobilisation of the XLX 67 ROV system, installing the security apparatus, the purpose built deck power distribution container, performing further operational type improvements to the deck areas, stocking up on provisions, and spares, and generally getting the vessel prepared to accommodate the POB capability. Numerous client inspections and visitations were also performed to showcase MPL’s newest asset on the fleet, the standards set certainly assisted to cement a very good first impression to all those who visited her. Above is a very brief overview of some highlights in the process of bringing the African Vision from its former role, into a leader in the West African construction market, demonstrating MPL capabilities in becoming a respected leading edge technology provider. The African Vision is the culmination and testament to the “inspired to do it better” approach that we all adopt in our daily routines. It represents something that we can all be proud and part of, from every corner stone within the MPL organisation. We wish her, and all that sail on her the very best for the future as she flies the Marine Platforms flag and all it represents.

All these improvements were geared towards MPL bringing the vessel into the West African construction market. After the handover was completed, our first task was to cut holes out of our new asset, not for the faint hearted especially after only owning the vessel for a few days!

This cut out, was required for the installation of the main McGregor crane support foundation. Once completed, the new crane unit could be brought to the quayside for installation. The weather at the dockside yard had to be favourable but it was always cold! Our new crane weighed 246te, and alignment to the installation area had to be inch perfect. It went well and was a success on the 1st attempt.

Many tests and trials were performed upon completion of the conversion, in accordance to the vessel’s DNV class notation. DNV inspectors were on board continuously throughout the works inspecting, certifying, and accepting many aspects of the works at the required stages. It is clear to see the modification aspects, but equally important was implementation of the management systems and certificates, not only for the conversion, but also in accordance to the change towards the Nigerian flag requirements. This occupied as many in the office as it did workers at the yard. Flag inspections went successfully, allowing the vessel to be renamed and fly the flag!

A fter the successful deployment of our first Subsea Construction Vessel the African Vision, Marine Platforms management decided to investigate the purchase of

another vessel to fully comply with Nigerian local content initiatives

Initially we looked at purchasing a second hand vessel around 18 months old but on further investigation of the future market we decided this vessel would not be suitably future proofed for the challenging Subsea market ahead.

After our investigations and looking at ship builders and designs around the world we decided to go with Havyard, a Norwegian ship builder.

Havyard was picked for the following reasons: quality, on time delivery, proven ship design, cost efficiency and post yard support. Havyard is one of the few shipbuilders that take full ownership from design to build.

The African Inspiration, Hull 115 is based on the Havyard 858 DSV Seven Havila design which received the OSJ Support Vessel of the Year award in 2011. NB 115 is the second vessel of Havyard 857 design that will be under construction at Havyard Group shipyard in Norway.

The Hull will be completed at the Crème yard in Turkey then towed to Norway for out-fitting and sea trials with a delivery date of September 2014.

BespokeSolutionsSubsea deep water repair operation

Subsea oil and gas exploration contractors are often asked to provide prompt and cost effective solution to varying degrees of problems during the life-of-field of various

assets in remote parts of the world and increasing water depths. Marine Platforms have successfully demonstrated the ability to think outside the box and away from conventional solution to meet and exceed customer expectation in providing quick and cost effective solution during the repair of a broken flowline gooseneck on the Agbami field offshore Nigeria.

WMA-2 Gooseneck repair operation WMA-2 flowline, 1.34km Km flowline connects the WMA manifold to a Water Injection Christmas Tree at water depth of 1440 meters. It was deployed and installed during the Agbami field development phase in 2008, with the manifold end of the flowline connected to the manifold and the Tree end of the flowline wet parked on the Temporary Parking Frame (TPF), pending when the well will be developed and the tree end of flowline connected to a Tree. During our regular in-field survey operation in 2009, the

gooseneck installed on the TPF hub was found to be broken.

After a review of various repair options, MPL proposed a method of repairing the gooseneck subsea as against recovering the entire flowline back to surface for repair on the deck of a construction vessel. The project planning is governed by factors such as safety, cost, time and resource availability. We came up with a conceptual design which after being subjected to rigorous checks by Clients Engineers and OEM, was considered safe and fit for purpose.

Engineering: Bespoke Repair equipment (Pull-in-Tool and the Parking Structure) were designed around the capability of our work class ROV, The parking structure was designed to accept the replacement gooseneck which was pre-installed on surface and deployed to location, while the Pull-in Tool was designed to align the flowline end fitting to the gooseneck hub in order to allow the ROV to make up the connection using remote Grayloc connector.

Mobilization/OperationAfter carrying out FAT and SIT, we mobilized the equipment on our MSV, the Siem Marlin and repair was successfully carried out in less than 3 days.

Benefits of the selected repair method are highlighted as follows:

Significant saving in project cost. The conventional method requires mobilization of flexible lay vessel to recover the flowline back to surface where repair would be made. The obstacle to this approach was the non-availability of vessel to meet project schedule and the huge cost outlay. In most cases, spot charter is very difficult to secure as most EPIC contractors are committed to projects very well in advance. Secondly, in most cases where vessels are available, costs are very high.

There are high risks associated with recovering flowlines back to surface considering weight and length. By performing the repair subsea, all associated risks were eliminated.

As oil and gas operations in West Africa gradually move towards deeper water, MPL is striving to develop safe, smart and cost effective solutions to solve challenging problems.

ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management SystemISO 9001:2008 is a family of standards related to quality management systems. It is designed to aid companies in ensuring their business processes are robust and applied consistently across the entire organization, in an effort to competently serve its customers. ISO 9001:2008 is a worldwide standard administered by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), based in Switzerland.

Marine Platforms Limited achieved certification from Det Norske Veritas (DNV) and Standard Organisation of Nigeria (SON), as an ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management Systems compliant organization for ROV Services, Wellbore clean out services and Vessel Chartering services.

To become certified as ISO 9001:2008 compliant, Marine Platforms Limited underwent an 18-month process that included the implementation of a formal quality management system, robust employee training on formal operating procedures, and implementation of measurement systems related to quality. The process culminated with a 4-day, third-party audit by DNV and SON to confirm that Marine Platforms Limited quality systems were fully implemented and met the standards required. Upon completion, a certificate of registration was formally issued on January 18, 2013.

Achieving ISO 9001:2008 certification means that Marine Platforms Limited was benchmarked against other mature businesses and found to have a best-in-class quality system.

OHSAS 18001:2007 Occupational Health and Safety Management SystemThe international Occupational Health and Safety Management System specification, which assists in recognizing, controlling and minimizing health and safety risks in the workplace. OHSAS 18001:2007 is an occupational health and safety management systems. It exists to help organizations put in place demonstrably sound occupational health and safety performance. It is widely seen as the world’s most recognized occupational health and safety management systems standard. The aim of the OHSAS 18001 specification is to prevent, control and reduce hazards and risks within the working environment. OHSAS 18001:2007 certification support organizations in producing evidence of meeting their legal responsibilities with regard to the health & safety of employees and due diligenceMarine Platforms Limited received OHSAS 18001:2007 certification from Det Norske Veritas (DNV) for ROV services, Subsea Engineering services, Wellbore clean up services and Vessel Chartering services.

Chevron Acid Injection Project

Agbami FPSO was designed for a daily production capacity of 250,000 barrels. However, some wells are experiencing high skins, resulting in declining

productivity over time. The objective of this project was to develop a methodology for pumping fluid (at high pressure and high flow rate) from Marine Platforms Vessel (Siem Marlin) a Multi-Purpose Vessel (MPV) into Chevron’s subsea facilities and wells to restore and possibly increase production.

Marine Platforms scope of activities included the following: • Conceptual and detail engineering design. • Procurement and logistics of long lead items • Operational planning and project management

for effective and safe execution • Adapting the Siem Marlin for the operation The Siem Marlin with the following specification was used to execute this operation: • 100 ton AHC crane • 1000 square meters deck space • 68 man POB • 7m x 7m working moonpool • Length 93.60m and 19.70 breath • Removed wingwall on Port side • Two 150HP XLX ROV The first step was to conduct acid stimulation on specific Agbami wells with high skin. A powered Coiled Tubing Spooler manufactured by Wright Well Control was used with an integrated device that has the following items all in one: • Deployment Reel and Spooler • Sheave • Power Pack • Jumpers (Flexible Hoses) (Packer Goldgen Eagle) • Moonpool Sheave Frame • Control Panel • Emergency Quick Disconnect (EQD) provided

by SECC A System Integration Test was conducted at FMC Onne Base after mobilisation of equipment and two Schlumberger acid systems (Traditional organic mud system, organic clay acid system) were tested

at Core Laboratories. OneSTEP, a system designed to reduce the number of stages and time used for pumping acid was implemented.

Offshore preparation commenced with project briefing and preparatory work to rig up all topside and subsea equipment on the Siem Marlin deck. Hoses and Coil tubing were set up as follows: • The EQD with T-block were mounted on the

Temporary Packing Frame (TPF). • Hoses and Hot stabs were prepared and tie

wrapped around the TPF for ROV to handle before deploying subsea.

• Connected crane to TPF and deployed to the seabed.

• Rig up gas lift connector and deployment using the vessel crane and connected to the tree by the ROV

An ROV engaged the hot stab into the female receptacle on the Gas Lift Connector (GLC) and returned to the TPF to disengage the hot stab from parking position thereafter stabbing it into the female receptacle on the quick disconnect outlet point. The male and female EQD were connected and the system was pressure tested to establish communication protocols with the FPSO.

The acid job was executed by shutting-in production and opening the access valves. A pre-flush was pumped with brine followed by an acid pre-flush.

The main acid followed and a post flush acid (NH4CL) was pumped and displaced. The tree was shut, hose disconnected and a flow-back was made to the FPSO. The CT was disconnected, lines flushed and CT lines, TPF and flexible hoses were recovered to surface.

Conclusion: • The overall project execution was excellent as

the project objective was attained with very significant increase in production per well.

• There was no safety incident during this operation as high emphasis was placed on safety.

To fully comply with the Local Content Law, we domicile all service activities incountry such as Project Management Team (PMT), Project Procurement Centre (PPC), maintenance of tools and equipment. • We have attained over 80% Local Content in

our Material Capacity with 50% on Human

Capacity. While aggressively training Locals, it is not our intention to have an all Nigerian company. We appreciate the importance of cross fertilization of ideas and the value Experienced Expats are bringing to the table especially in the areas of R&D and complex subsea operations.

• Show commitment by deliberate addition or creation of value in country via genuine human capacity building, Technology transfer programs, Technology mentorship programs, increasing physical operational presence and investment in Nigeria, development of Nigerian contractors and suppliers.

MPL and NorwayThe Norwegian Ambassador to Nigeria, Ambassador Rolf Ree visited Marine Platforms Lagos office in recognition of our business relationship with Norwegian companies notably our new build vessel with Havyard.

After inspecting various European yards, Global Shipbroker, Clarksons brokered the landmark shipbuilding contract between Marine Platforms and the prestigious Norwegian Shipyard, Havyard. At the Shipbuilding contract sign off at Clarksons London office in March 2012 between The CEO of Havyard, Geir Johan Bakke; CEO of MPL, Taofik Adegbite were The Managing Director of Clarksons Piers Middleton; Senior Shipbroker at Clarksons, Johnny Fawthrop and Havyard Director, Trygve Solaas.

As part of its strategy to exhibit its presence as a formidable and fast growing oil service company, also it unveiled its strength to the industry and key players as a company that has risen against all odds, to par with its foreign counter parts in providing services that were hitherto the game of foreign counterparts.

Apart from the traditional display of services and competencies, it also showcased evidences of its asset acquisition and personnel development, which was recognized as a feat in the Nigerian oil servicing industry.

As a side attraction of the event, Marine Platforms was hosted by NNPC and Aiteo at the Gala Dinner & 13th Annual NOG Awards Ceremony. Amongst other growing companies, Marine Platforms was recognized and awarded with the Nigerian Content Award of the year 2013.

NIMASA on African VisionAfter the African Vision berthed at the Eko Base Quayside, Bull Nose, Apapa, the Director General of Nigerian Maritime Administration And Safety Agency (NIMASA), Mr. Ziakede Patrick Akpobolokemi and his team were taken on a tour of the Vessel. The DG was very impressed with the quality of the vessel and the high level standard on board. The African Vision is the first ship in its category in NIMASA Ship Registry.
