The Solano Community College Educational Foundation (SCCEF) hosted the inaugural SCC Crab & Shrimp Feed on Saturday, March 4, 2017 at the Student Center on the Fairfield campus.

A crowd of nearly 300 enjoyed fresh Dungeness crab, a great line of up desserts, and the sounds of the Derek Smith Trio playing Caribbean steel drums. It was a fun evening out with friends and family while supporting SCC students and the SCC Alumni project. Nearly $10,000 was raised. SCCEF is donating funds to the programs that provided student volunteers, including the Puente Program, MESA Student Society, Phi Theta Chapter of the IHS, and the Cyber Dyne Club.

The SCC Educational Foundation would like to thank the event sponsors including the Nor Cal NECA, Advanced Finishing Systems, Napa Solano Building Trades Council, Dr. Celia Esposito-Noy, Marc Tonnesen, SCC Retirees Association, Jay Yerkes, John Zeltin, and Curt & Debbie Johnston.
