Detailed wearer managementTIKOS captures all key information on who is using each item of clothing. It does this by allocating a dedicated range of items to each individual. If necessary, wearers can be re-booked or placed on hold. Detailed records can be viewed at any time showing when replacements were ordered and changes in stock levels and sizes can also be tracked.

Unique IDs for every itemEvery item is allocated its own unique ID (barcode or RFID). Any movement data is recorded by the system. This makes it possible to go through the detailed records of each item from when it was purchased to stock movements, washing cycles, any amendments made to items and repairs. The patch labels can be printed on any standard printer.

Digitalised work instructionsIf an item needs to be taken out of service or repaired, or you need automatic notifications so you don’t forget to order replacements from suppliers, all you have to do is set up the right instructions for your colleagues by placing a signal. You can assign an unlimited number of signals to any individual item.

If an item needs to be replaced, even before the end of the contract, you can easily determine its precise residual value. The system takes into account the amortisation period per customer, the selling price and the individual minimum residual value. To make everyday tasks easier, scheduled reminders are issued or you can automate residual value calculations.

Many laundries also like to offer extended services and sell clothing. As well as capturing laundry and rental prices, the system allows you to set up special selling prices for indi-vidual items. So if someone asks to buy certain items, you can quickly give them an offer, or issue a delivery note or an invoice. The number of items in stock changes automatically – without any additional administrative input.

Labels can be designed individually in any standard barcode format. Any kind of standard printer can be used for print-ing. There is also a facility to design labels to go on storage containers and lockers. You can also make adhesive labels for putting workwear into storage.

So information about the time taken to repair an item, who repaired it, or when it was repaired is all documented in detail, providing you with a reliable source of data for invoicing.
