ANM2000 Installation and Configuration


Informix11.5 request of software &hardware

Request of OSThe OS can support Anm2000&informix11.5windows XP professionalwindows2003windows 2008 serverSolaris 10. Windows XP need SP2packet,windows2003 need sp1 packet.

The OS must be 32 bits.

Request of hardwareThe memory of server should be at least 1Gand the disk should at least be divided into C&D. Small model need 16GB, middle model 40GB,large model need 85GB in the D disk


Enter the Informix folderclick thesetup.exe to start.

Choose IBM Informix Dynamic Server 11.50 with J/Foundation & IBM Informix Client-SDK 3.50



Click Next >.Informix11.5 installation / Informix Dynamic Server


ChooseI accept the no need to chooseRead non-IBM . click Next >.



Choose Custom type. Click Next >.



The installation path should be C:\Informix. Than Next >.



No need to changejust Next >.



The default of User is informixpassword need to be vislecaina. Then Next >.



Set the Server Name, Service Name is turbo, port choose 6000server number is 0



If appearing the following wizardthat means the port name turbo and port 6000 has been used. Solution open the services file in C:\\windows\system32\drivers\etc, find this information and delete it .


Delete it then save


The configuration as following, the primary data location should choose D disk, then Next >.



Through this window we can check the information we have set it. If it is correct click Next >.



copy the installation files to the destination folder, waiting



The installation of Informix Dynamic Server is finished. Click Finish



Then will start the installation of Informix Client-SDK 3.50 automatic

click Next >.

After finish the installation of Informix, we should set environment variables

start ->program->IBM Informix Client-SDK 3.50->Setnet32

Informix Setnet32 Environment setting Configure INFORMIXDIR = C:\Informix, INFORMIXSERVER = ol_anm,

click set then click apply to make it available



Set OS environment variables System Properties > advanced > environment variable, create new

system variable INFORMIXDIR = C:\Informix\, INFORMIXSERVER = ol_anm


Must the same as Setnet32

Make Default Serverand click

apply


Set the Host InformationclickapplyInformix11.5 installation / environment variables


Once complete the SETNET32 settingfind the ONCONFIG.ol_anm in C:\informix\etc, and open it use txt

Find the Informix IDS - ol_anm service, enter the properties and set the start parameters-iyclickstart

Make sure that Informix IDS ol_anm service status is runningstart type isautomatic



Check the informix database1. start ->program->IBM Informix Dynamic Server 11.50>ol_anm2. enter onstat to check is there appears On-Line



1. start ->program->IBM Informix Dynamic Server 11.50>ol_anm2. enter onstat l (lower-case L) to check is return 40 total information



ANM2000 installation and configuration

Add Microsoft Loopback Adapter, the IP is for database


Double clickAnm2000_Server.exe



Next ->



Click Yes



Enter your name and the name of your company



Choose the language



Input the name of Database and the IP address. The IP address should be the same in Microsoft Loopback Adapter



Input the username and password



choose the services



The fault path is D:\AEMSDo not change the Destination Folder!



Installing



Click



Restart later



Open the ol_anm under the Informix dynamic server 11.50



Initiate the data spaceenter the andb folder as following, then input createspaces s -t-t need 16G disk spacecan manage 100 OLTs-m need 40G disk spacecan manage 200 OLTs-l need 85G disk spacecan manage 500 OLTs


-s single disk mode-d double disk mode


If cant create the data space due to the limits of authority, can use the another method. Right click the ol_anm and choose running type and use the user name informix and password to login



Chunk successfully added



Enter createandb



Grant andb to anm2000 successfully



Restart the OS and check the services are runningAEMS-DBServerAEMS-ManagerAEMS-DumpServerAEMS-CollectionServer



Start the ANM 2000 User name & password are both 1
