Click on FindIt@Greenwich to find the full text Access to full text: you sometimes have trouble authenticating yourself as a University of Greenwich user to get full text. To ensure that you get full text access when using LibrarySearch, I advise the following steps: login to the portal, click on the Databases, Journals and E-books link on the Library & Computing tab, and then click on any link on that page, e.g. Academic Search Premier. Doing this activates your OpenAthens authentication embedded in your portal username and password. Now, you will be logged in to our resources and you can search and use LibrarySearch without a problem.

    Searching for journals and e-books LibrarySearch

    Searching for articles in databases

    Access our databases by logging in to the portal and then going to the Library & Computing tab. Go to the eLibrary and then Databases, Journals and e-

    books. While LibrarySearch will search across books and journals at the same time for you, you can choose to search an individual databases or journals website or use one of the other online resources. You can access all online resources available to you by logging in to the portal, going to the Library and Computing tab and then clicking on Databases, Journals and e-books in the eLibrary. Logging in You may occasionally be asked to login again when accessing online resources. If you see a blue screen with the University of Greenwich logo, then please enter your portal username and password.

    Click on Ebscohost Research Databases, then Health Sciences Research Databases

    Use the Health Sciences Research Databases for keyword searching for journal articles. Use simple keywords to describe what you are looking for, e.g. Headache AND acupuncture AND Randomized controlled trial There are many useful features of these databases to help you. When you click on the title of an article, you will see a menu of icons on the right-hand side of the screen. The Email icon enables you to email the article to yourself. The Cite icon will show you how to reference this journal article in the major referencing styles. No full text? Dont despair just click on FindIt@Greenwich to find out if we have the full text elsewhere in our collections.

    Click on SCOPUS

    This is an abstract only database but to find the full text of an article youre interested in, just click

    the SFX button to find out if the University of Greenwich subscribes to that journal and if you get

    access to the full text.

    SciVerse Scopus is a huge database with millions of articles from the Health Sciences, Life Sciences,

    Physical Sciences and Social Sciences subject areas.
