Food Assistance Available

In recognition of the needs that have arisen in our community as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, two of our ministries are responding to the increased demands by making additional resources available: Our Saint Vincent de Paul Society and the Friends of Francis Food Pantry are providing assistance to all those in need of food.

Our Saint Vincent de Paul Society has supermarket gift cards available at the Parish Office. To request this assistance, please call our Parish Office at 781-396-0423 to coordinate the pick up of a gift card.

Our Friends of Francis Food Pantry, located at the St. Francis of Assisi Parish Center at 2 St. Clare Road, is open every Thursday from 3:00 pm to 4:30 pm. If you are visiting the pantry for the first time, please bring a photo ID and proof of address (household bill). You do not to need to be a Medford resident to visit our pantry.

In addition to these resources, a list of food pantries in the City of Medford can be found at: www.medfordma.org/food-resources-in-medford/ or on our website www.medfordcollaborative.org on the “Stay Connected” tab, under “Food Assistance”.
