North-End Gateway Project Update
Governor Announces “Marshall Plan for Closing the State’s Talent Gap”
State is facing a huge talent gap and the Community College’s will be the key training that leads to certificates and degrees that lead to high-paying jobs in demand within technology-related jobs in manufacturing, health care and skilled trades.
Proposed a 5 year pilot with 100 Million set aside to develop state’s talent.
The key is in-demand skills that can be acquired through certificate programs and two-year degrees.
Grants will be provided to schools that collaborate with businesses to create and develop new class curriculums and programs for these high-demand careers.

2019 CCSSE/CCFSSE Surveys of Engagement
Center for Institutional Effectiveness will coordinate survey administration in cooperation with the Student and Community Services and Instruction Divisions
Data used to inform planning, practices and assessment
