  • Need To Know The IC Portal will be OPEN from 1/23 (3pm) until 1/28 (3pm) (Students can get help in the DC with registration during this time) Students access the portal by going to the LTHS Website and clicking on the Infinite Campus Portal Link

  • More Things to Know Complete Course Request Worksheet Yellow Sheet Get PARENT SIGNATURE on the yellow sheet or course Infinite Campus portal printout Bring Yellow Course Sheet to scheduled meeting with counselor starting late Jan./early Feb. during your US History classes Use the (Pink) Senior Course Offerings Handout to determine correct course codes (semester preference is not guaranteed ) *course codes ending in the number 1 are 1 st semester and codes ending in 2 are 2 nd semester Check Prerequisites for courses (refer to the APG online and read course descriptions)

  • One More Thing To Do Students will enter codes for requested and alternate courses on Infinite Campus from 1/23 (3pm) until 1/28 (3pm) **save and print a copy to give to your counselor at your scheduled meeting from your U.S. History class

  • Senior Required Courses *Courses are automatically entered; approved requested PE alternate classes will be changed when you meet with your counselors *Note that 2a and 2b represent 1 semester each *Do not worry if you have already met your Consumer Econ requirement or if you want to change PE choice. This can be done with counselor.

  • MATH AND SCIENCE RECOMMENDATIONS on IC PORTAL When students go into the Portal, in addition to REQUIRED (R) courses, the math & science recommendations from teachers will show up as REQUESTED (E) courses. These are recommendations that the teacher has reviewed with the student. Most students will choose to keep these, but they do have the option to DROP THIS REQUEST when they are in the portal.

  • English IV Core English Classes Prep Options Please read further descriptions in the APG An Annual Course: 1) World Perspectives in Literature Have the same teacher for the entire year and a smoother transition between semesters. Explore ideas of justice, the search for meaning, imagination and more through various genres of fiction and non-fiction. Semester Courses Take two of the following: 1) Creating and Reflecting Develop your curiosity and ability to reflect. Like art? This class with work on your reading, writing, and thinking skills and will tap into your creative side. 2) The Visual Word Study literature through the interpretation of filmmaking and films. This is not just a watching the movie class! You will be expected to analyze, discuss, and write about cinematography and the devices used in film. 3) The Literary Tradition of Comedy Explore humor in plays, essays, novels, and poetry in this class.
