    What is induction?

    Induction is process meant to help the newemployee to settle down quickly into the job bybecoming familiar with the people the surroundingthe job the firm and the industry.

    Induction is process of acquainting

    the new employees with the existingculture and practices of new organization.

    indication training programmed. The one

    day programmed includes theinformation about the company. The

    entrants are also familiarized what

    others do. A six month behavioral

    training is also offered finally therecruits are put through an appraisal

    process to gauge fitment and progress.

    Socialization training and developmentare all used to help new employees adapt to

    their new organizations and become fullyproductive.

    Ideally, employees will understand and

    accept the behaviors desired by theorganization, and will be able to attain theirown goals by exhibiting these behaviors.

    Pre-arrival stage: Individuals arrive with a

    set of values, attitudes and expectations which

    they have developed from previous experience

    and the selection process.
