After a break of two academic sessions, Army College of Medical Sciences, New Delhi com- menced its session in Oct 2013. Of the admit- ted students, 86% are wards of JCOs/OR. Alumni of APS present in all professions across the country and abroad. Best results in AISSE (X class) and AISSSE (XII class) for similarly placed day schools. • Veterans Cell came into existence in Apr2013 as single point contact for addressingthe grievances of ESM.

• Cell has dealt with over 2,433 petitions sinceits inception.

• Rehabilitation & Welfare Section, also underthe Veteran Cell, has disbursed over 125mobility scooters for disabled soldiers, 1294education scholarships and financial assis-tance to 1606 NOKs/families in the previouscalendar year.

• Army Veterans Grievance Handling Portalinvolving all stakeholders being launched byApr 2014.

• Priority Treatment of Disabled Ex ServiceMen at Military Hospitals.

• Project Milap- An initiative by Army to reach out to needy
