SPE Limited also offer design, supply, fit and maintenance of Rainwater Harvesting (GreyWater) systems for both domestic and industrial applications, and are regularly involved inimplementing and commissioning large schemes across the country for universities andschools, fire stations, nursing homes and private businesses.

Pumps - anyone can sell you a pump...but is itthe right one?As a totally independent company, SPE can recommend the most appropriatepump for the job, and can supply direct replacements or equivalentreplacements from a different manufacturer, depending on the customer'scriteria. Additionally, SPE can also supply spare parts, carry out repairs, andundertake regular maintenance of any type of pump and pumping equipment.

Pumping StationsPumping stations are suitable for developments where foul drainage to mainsdrains via gravity is not possible including septic tank pumps, twin pump systemsfor larger developments, and storm water removal.

SPE supply both off the shelf and bespoke pumping chambers to suit anyrequirements and can design and oversee the installation if required. Chamberscan be supplied on their own, or with pumps, guide rails and control equipmentinstalled.

Sewage Treatment PlantsSewage treatment plants are suitable for developments where foul drainage tomains drains is not possible. SPE can specify and supply Sewage TreatmentPlants and can design and oversee the installation if required. Please note: SPEdo not offer installation of pumping chambers as part of their service unless thelocation is extremely local to their Midlands base. SPE Sewage Treatment Plantsare specified with minimum low-cost maintenance in mind and SPE offers a fullcommissioning and after sales service, including individually tailored MaintenanceContracts involving planned maintenance visits.

Tankering ServicesSPE Limited offers tankering services to empty, clean and de-sludge a variety ofsewage plants and systems. All waste is removed cleanly and efficiently anddisposed of at authorised treatment plants in accordance with all currentregulations. Utilising our UK-wide, fully licensed and approved network oftanker companies, we remove waste from/provide washdown services for:

Grey Water andRainwater HarvestingSPE Limited design and install bespokerainwater harvesting and grey water recyclingsystems, for residential, commercial and industrial applications.

Rain Water Harvesting - collect rain water from roofs and/or hardstandings to re-use for varied appliances such as irrigation, laundry/dishwasher water supply, wash hand basins/showers, toilet flushing etc.

Grey Water Recycling - grey water from baths/showers can be re-used for toilet flushing by domestic households, leisure centres,hotels, caravan sites, apartment buildings, military establishments,housing estates etc.

Septic TanksAn improperly sited, designed, installed, maintained or operated SepticTank system can pollute drinking and surface water and cause manyproblems. SPE can specify and supply a Septic Tank System to suitmost requirements, however with environmental laws becoming morestringent, the use of Septic Tank systems has started to decline and theneed for small packaged sewage treatment plants has increased.

Reed Bed Sewage Treatment SystemsThe treatment of various types of pollution in water has been carriedout naturally for a considerable number of years by differing types ofplant life. Over the past 30 years these natural systems have beensuccessfully harnessed to treat sewage and many other pollutants inwastewater.

Reed Bed Sewage Treatment Systems can be used to treat a variety of pollution loadings,but great care must always be exercised in their design and implementation. These systemsoffer an effective form of treatment and, in future years, reduce maintenance costs. SPE can undertake a site visit and advise / specify / install accordingly.

SPE will undertake thesupervision of installation of most type of sewagetreatment and pumping plants, and the commissioningof equipment, ensuring manufacturer's warranties arenot compromised and you, the customer, have peaceof mind!

Service and MaintenanceFor a long and cost effective operational life all systemsrequire routine servicing. Whether plant, pumping ormechanical and electrical, SPE offer comprehensivesupport, from regular inspection and repair to allaspects of pump and equipment supply andmaintenance. Maintenance contracts are tailored tosuit each customer, giving preferential rates and accessto an emergency call-out service.

Site SurveysSPE will investigate drainage and sewage problems andprovide a report, together with an estimate of the costof any remedial work that may need to be undertaken.

Repairs and ReplacementThe refurbishment and upgrading of existingequipment is often necessary to keep up withincreased loads and new legislation. As therequirements of your application change, so ourengineers and technicians can advise you on the mostrelevant course of action. Refurbishment of existingequipment is undertaken to manufacturers'specification.

Emergency and other issuesSPE offer a call-out service for emergency repairs: allour engineers are confined space trained. We workclosely with the Environment Agency, keeping abreastof relevant current legislation.
