T i l t i i n i SpaceThe benefits of the Tilt in Space are best applied from the use of a single, rather than a dual motor. With a dual motor, the back-rest can operate separately, which in turn can pull or stretch the lower back and is generally non conducive to good posture.

The Tilt in Space action is unique in the sense that it works in harmony with the user. When reclining, the simultaneous rotation of the seat and backrest takes the weight off the lower leg and eases your feet from the floor, the feet rise at the same time as the back reclines, which means that the user’s body is cushioned in one position throughout the cycle. Because the angle between the back and the seat remain constant, the user does not experience any stretching or pulling of the lower back.

Although the range is available with a dual motor action, we advocate the use of a single motor - which is not the normal advice, but this is not a normal action! The Tilt in Space works best with one motor.

Our Made to Measure range is a collection of luxu-rious high back recliner chairs from MiChair® avail-able in standard sizing also, giving innumerable vari-ations of seat width, seat height, back height and user weight combinations.

For those who do not want to advertise the fact they have to use a lift and recline chair, all of the MiChair® Made to Measure collection is available with matching fixed chairs, 2 and 3 seater sofas. Bristol

Using the latest in Tilt in Space recliner actions, the chair is ideally suited for those that prefer to keep the body, hips and thighs at a constant angle. The result is a more restful and comfortable recline movement and position. In the full recline position the user benefits from an almost ‘zero gravity’ position, with the chair offering total support to all of the body.
