Independence Day and Republic Day

The celebration of National Days contains a significant position among the activities of the college. The commemoration of Independence Day involves

Flag Hoisting by Administrative head of the college, Speeches, patriotic Songs and Dances. Students participate with great involvement and deep

patriotic temper. The celebration ends with refreshments for students and staff members.

VrikshaMitraDiwas

The dedication towards the environmental concerns can be observed by various in and out-campus activities. Vriksha Mitra Diwas is such an occasion

when the students and staff come together and tie Raksha Sutra to the Trees and Plants and take oath to protect and preserve the environment. This day

is made more effective by conduction od different competitions. One of the examples is Poster Painting Competition. The Students paintedout their

thoughts and concerns for the Mother Nature.

World HeartDay

On the occasion of World Heart Day, NHMMI NARAYANA HOSPITAL organizes Walkathon on Sunday 28th September (at ShahidBhagat

Singh Chowk, Shankar Nagar Raipur from 6:00 AM onwards). A brisk walk rally for the citizens of Raipur. The thought behind organizing

this rally every year, is to spread awareness about heart diseases and to keep fit enough to avoid such problems. Brisk walk is one of the best

exercises to keep one away from these life threatening diseases. All the students and teachers of St. Vincent Pallotti College actively

participate in the program.

Blood Donation Camp

Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan

SwachhtaAbhiyan is a cleanliness drive aimed to cover the nearby areas and college campus in order to clean the streets, roads & other infrastructure

It supports the campaign run by the government of India and initiated by the Honorable Prime Minister, NarendraModi.

A cleanliness drive was conducted in college to motivate and create awareness among students regarding a clean & green environment. A pledge

was taken by Principal Sir along with staff members & students.

A Talk on Road Safety

In association with the Raipur Traffic Police, College has conducted a guest lecture on Road Safety. Two of the Senior Traffic Police Officers explained

the Significance of On-Road Discipline to the Students.

Wall Painting Competition

Students are consistently participating in the wall painting competition organized by JCI Raipur. In this competition raise the issues like global

warming,wild fire in continents, launching of Chandrayaan, child labour and save water like environmental issues.

Village Camp

Community activity is a part of “civic responsibility”. It boosts self confidence & self esteem. Being involved in community activity, can gives us a

positive way of understanding. It also gives us a sense of belonging in our local community. And it gives us opportunity to make new connections. As

a part of curriculum the department of Education organizes a village camp in different villages for B.Ed. trainees. The objectives of conducting village

camp are to develop positive behavior & management techniques to deal with challenges, difficult situations & to develop their own skills effectively.

Association with the City Municipality Corporation

In association with city Municipal Corporation, College has been shouldering the responsibility of maintaining the garden in front of the

college building. The garden area has been developed after a series of efforts made by the College Administration. This has become beneficial for

the local residents as children have a place to play and the path inside the garden is used by the Morning Joggers for keeping them fit.
