CHAPTER 1
AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND" THE COMPANIES
ORDINANCE." . .
(Assented to April 29th, 1936.)
The Commissioner of.the Yukon Territory, by and with the advice and consent of the Council of said Territory, enacts as follows:
I. Sectio!ls 102 to 110 inclusive of "The Companies Sees. 102 to
Ordinance," being Chapter 18 of the Consolidated Ordin~ t;~l~o a.pply
ances of the Yukon Territory, 1914, shall apply to any ~~~e;:~les. company incorporated under any Act of the Parliament of . Canada either before or after 1st July, 1923.
2. In the case of a company incorporated under any Act of the -parliament of Canada before 1 st July, 1923, which has prior to the date of coming into force of this Ordinance, created any mortgage or charge as defined in the said ·sections 102 to 110, the time for registration of such mortgage or charge shall be ninety days from the date of coming into force of this Ordinance.

3. Subsection 6 of section 102 of the said Ordinance Subsection 6 . h bid of Sec. 102 IS. ere y repea e . repealed.

CHAPTER 2
AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND" AN ORDINANCE
RESPECTING THE OFFICE OF PUBLIC
ADMINISTRATOR."
(Assented to April 29th, 1936.)
The Commissioner of the Yukon Territory, by and with the advice and consent of the Council of said Territory, enacts as follows:
1. Section 7 of " An Ordinance Respecting the Office of Public Administrator," being Chapter 74 of the Consolidated Ordinances of the Yukon Territory, 1914, is hereby amended by inserting the word "not" between the words "shall" and "apply" in the first line thereof.
2. The said Ordinance is further amended by adding immediately after the words "Public Administrator," in the second line of subsection (1) of the said section 7, as amended by section 1 of Chapter 4 of the Ordinances of 1925, the following:

"The Public Administrator shall avail himself of the procedure provided by the said Rule 5 20 in the following cases:
"( a) When any question arises as to the priority of claims as between creditors or classes of creditors; .
"(b) When any question arises as to the incidence of Government Succession Duty; .
"( c) When any question arises as to the rights of beneficiaries as between themselves;
"( d) When there is question of the advisability of bringing action on behalf of an estate or of defending an action brought against an estate." .
LIQUOR ORDINANCE, AMENDMENT 3
. CHAPTER 3
AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND "THE GOVERN-
MENT LIQUOR ORDINANCE."
(Assented to April 29th, 1936.)
The Commissioner of the Yukon Te·rritory, by and with the advice and consent of the Council of said Territory, enacts as follows:
1.
" The Government Liquor Ordinance," being Chapter 1 p;~bt:~on of of the Ordinances of the Yukon Territory, 1921, (Second ·Place" amended. Session), is hereby amended by adding to the definition of the words " Public Place," in section 2 of the said Ordinance, the following words immediately following the word " such" in the sixth line of the said definition-, "or the private living quarters of the proprietor or of any employee of the proprietor."

The said Ordinance is .further amended by adding imme- Sec. 20
diately after the word "Ordinance/' in the fifth line of amended,
section 20 thereof, the following words, "provided that this shall not apply to the keeping of liquor by the proprietor or any employee of: the proprietor in their private living quarters and for their personal use."

AN . ORDINANCE FOR GRANTING TO THE
COMMISSIONER CERTAIN SUMS OF MONEY
TO DEFRAY THE EXPENSES OF THE PUBLIC
SERVICE OF THE TERRITORY AND THE
CITY OF DAWSON.
(Assented to April 29th, /936.)
Whereas, It appears by Message from George Allen Jeckell, Esquire, the Comptroller of the Yukon Territory, and in the Supplementary Estimates accompanying the same, that the sums hereinafter mentioned in Schedule "A" are required to defray certain further expenses of the Public Service of the Yukon Territory and the City of Dawson, and for the purposes relating thereto for the year ended March 31st, 1936; and,
Whereas, It appears by Message from George Allen Jeckell, Esquire, the Comptroller of the Yukon Territory and in the Estimates accompanying the same, that the sums hereinafter mentioned in Schedule "B" to this Ordinance are required to defray certain expenses of the Public Service of the Yukon Territory and for the purposes relating thereto for the twelve months ending March 31, 1937; and,
Whereas, It appears by Message from George Alien Jeckell, Esquire, the Comptroller of the Yukon Territory, and in the Estimates accompanying the same, that the sums hereinafter mentioned in Schedule "c" to this Ordinance are required to defray certain expenses of the Public Service of the City of Dawson and for the purposes relating thereto for the twelve months ending M arch 31, 1937;
The Comptroller of the Yukon Territory, by and with the advice and consent of the Council of said Territory, therefore enacts as follows:
SUPPLY 5
1. From and out ·9f the sums at the disposal of the Yukon Council there shall be paid and applied a further sum not exceeding in the whole one hundred and seventy-four thousand, nine hundred and ninety-four dollars and ninetyeight cents for defraying the several charges and expenses of the Public Service of the Yukon Territory for the year ending March 31, 1936, as set forth in Schedule "A" of this Ordinance i and from and out of the sums at the disposal of the Yukon Council there shall be paid and applied a further sum not ex£eeding in the whole three thousand, seven hundred and eighty-eight dollars and seventy-six cents for defraying the several charges and expenses of the Public Service of the City of Dawson for the year ended March 31, 1936, as set forth in Schedule "A" of this Ordinance.
2. From and out of the funds at the disposal of the Yukon Council there shall and may be paid and applied a sum not exceeding in the whole one hundred and eightyeight thousand, one hundred and fifteen dollars and thirtyseven cents for defraying the several charges and expenses of the Public Service of the Yukon Territory for the twelve months ending March 31, 1937, as set forth in Schedule "B" of this Ordinance.
. 3. From and out of the funds at the disposal of the Yukon Council there shall and may be paid and applied a sum not exceeding thirty-two thousand dollars for defraying the several charges and expenses of the Public Service of the City of Dawson for the twelve months ending March 31,1937, as set forth in Schedule "c" to this Ordinance.
4. The due application of all moneys expended shall be duly accounted for.

5. In the event of there being a surplus of moneys standing to the credit of any item voted for Roads, Bridges and Public Works after the construction or repairs provided for have been completed to the satisfaction of the SuperIntendent of Works and Buildings, such surplus of moneys shall forthwith, on the acceptance of such works or repairs by the Comptroller of the Yukon Territory, be taken from said item and become part of and be added to the amount provided for Contingencies to such Roads, Bridges and Public Works, and shall thereafter be at the disposal of the Comptroller of the Yukon T~rritory for Roads, Bridges and Public Works.
