F or the first time in his 24 year career, Ed found himself competing in simultaneous image competitions when both his State and District hosted their annual competitions on the same dates, 2/26-27, 2016. Ed was overjoyed to have five of his images earn first place blue ribbon merits. He was also recipient of three special award trophies including the Kodak Gallery award for ‘Innocence’. His image titled, the ‘Sheepherders Daughter’ received multiple awards including the Court-of-Honor for Best Portrait in show and highest scor- ing image by a Certified Photographer. ‘Innocence’ was awarded 2nd Place in the Children’s category at the Northeast District Competition with a score of 92. Four of the five im- ages will be submitted to the In- ternational Photographic Compe- tition this summer where they will be judged for the prestigious Loan Collection award.
