The assailed EP has been already registered with the Registry of Deeds of Pangasinan, thus bringing it within the scope of the Torrens System. It is a fundamental principle that a title serves as evidence of an indefeasible title to the property in favor of the person in whose name appears therein in this case. In this Ybanez vs. IAC, (194 SCRA 743), it has been held that Torrens System can be attacked only for fraud within one year after the date of the issuance of the decree of registration.
