    he importance of the twin factors of creativity and innovation is evidenced by theirphenomenal impact in de catalyzing stagnation and complacency at the workplace.Creativity helps in breaking strangulating patterns of monotony, thereby making work

    not only meaningful and interesting but also, positively impacting overall efficiently and

    effectiveness of the organization. Innovation, at both the small and large scale, is thedriving force for organizations to gain competitive advantage through change anddevelopment of core competencies and in keeping pace with the rapidly evolving businessenvironment of today.

    Course Objectives

    To install an understanding of creativity and small scale innovation throughrevelation of its inherent constituents and types.

    To identify the blocks to creativity and techniques to stimulate creativity.

    To train the participants in applying creative skills practically to improve workplaceperformance.

    This course will be beneficial to anyone, form functional managers to personnel in differentcadres, who wish to add value to their workplace performance by developing creativity andinnovation skills and applying the same to varied situations / work processes. Theparticipants will walk away with a true and deeper understanding of the elusive concepts ofcreativity and innovation.

    The programme will be conducted for 4 days from 8:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. daily. When considerednecessary, the programme may be arranged on a different schedule, which would be notified to theparticipants separately.
