10:00-11:30 AMFREE yoga classes for cancer patients are
now being offered every 1st, 2nd, and
3rd Friday of each month. Join us as
Eppie Szczesny guides patients toward
empowerment and a sense of control over
their well-being. Eppie is a certified yoga
instructor with 10 years of experience and
is volunteering to help cancer patients
create a stronger, more flexible body.
Registration is required to attend this
program as space is limited.

Deforia Lane, PhD, MT-BC serves as resident Director of Music Therapy at the University Hospitals Seidman Cancer Center in Cleveland.Dr. Lane is board certified as a music therapist and is certified by theNational Association for Music Therapy for Faculty Authorization.
Dr. Lane has created and implemented music therapy programs for mentally challenged and abused children, cancer patients, the elderly, hospice patients, and psychiatric patients. She has served as a consultant for institu-tions such as the Mayo Clinic, Ohio Department of Mental Health, Sesame Street Workshop, Special Olympics, and Eastman Kodak, Inc., and has authored articles in professional nursing journals. Dr. Lane speaks throughout the United States and has had the privilege to interact with patients through music therapy in Hong Kong, China, and Kenya.

If you are newly diagnosed or did not get a chance last year, we invite you to stop by to decorate and personalize an ornament with your first name and date of diagnosis before hanging it on the tree that will be located in the library.
