Generation ELA Content Standards and Objectives to
design standards-based instruction with a focus on text

Mathematics Content Standards and Objectives
� Using standards as the basis for instructional design and
delivery
� The relationship between the Standards of Mathematical
Practice and the Standards for Mathematical Content
� Effective implementation of the Math I instructional units
designed to intentionally focus on the critical areas of
Math 1 while effectively integrating the Standards of
Mathematics Content and Practices.
