Implementation...

Our tools are provided Open Source, allowing users to develop and implement their own functions. Taroko offer a range of options for deploying our toolset, these include:

- Taroko user: Standalone installation, installed on Taroko staff’s personal computer for the duration of the assignment. Ideal for small-scale use for short time periods or where Taroko is hired to perform a specific assignment;

- Single user: Standalone installation, installed on the user’s personal computer. Ideal for small-scale, low budget use;

- Multi-user (self hosted): Project team installation, installed on a local server. Ideal for medium-sized projects with users in close proximity; and

- Multi-user (Taroko hosted): Ideal for situations where the Project does not want to procure hardware and users are geographically remote.

Web delivery is available on all options and includes mobile access that allows users to view summary data from their mobile devices on the go.

The Right People...

Taroko provides systems engineering expertise and knowhow to high value technically complex projects. We have over 100 years of combined experience, primarily in the Rail Industry.

As a company we constantly challenge existing processes and practices looking for ways to improve efficiency.We are different from traditional systems engineering providers as we bring more than knowledge and knowhow to a project. We understood how to couple our engineering expertise to an agile project management toolset thereby greatly enhancing project delivery. Developed

over the past 15 years, our toolset allows data to be managed, examined, conclusions drawn and priorities established in ways that are otherwise impossible by manual means.

The ‘industry standard’ tools used by Projects today are costly, inflexible and do only one thing, e.g. Document Control, Requirements Management or Hazard Management. Unimpressed with these tools - we built our own. We understood that design documents are where requirements and hazard mitigations live. We know that documents and requirements change and despite these changes the Project must still continue to deliver and assure compliance to the Client’s requirements.
