HELLO. WE’RE IMPERO AND WE BELIEVE IT’S IMPORTANT TO BE BOTH GOOD LOOKING AND CLEVER.Let us explain.

Although accurate, ‘Good Looking and Clever’ is not so much a comment about us personally. It’s more about our work and how we go about it.

Everything we make looks good. That’s one of the purposes of engaging a design firm; you want your project to look good. But that’s the easy part.

With so much competition for your client’s attention, your brand communications can’t just look good – no – they must also be clever. Your brand’s communications must communicate your brand’s voice. They must have a purpose. They must tell a story. They must create an image in your clients’ minds.

They must entice your clients to become involved with your brand. And, they must enable you to grow new relationships or strengthen old ones.

Put most simply, your brand’s communications must work and to do that they can’t just look good - they must also be clever.

This is a small review of some of our recent work. You’ll be viewing it because we’re interested in working with you or you’re interested in working with us – hopefully both. Either way - we hope you enjoy learning about it as much as we enjoyed producing it.

SENSES SPA THIS PROJECT WAS LIKE GROWING A MASSIVE TREE FROM A SMALL SEED. WE STARTED WITH NOTHING (NOT EVEN A NAME) BUT BY THE TIME WE HAD FINISHED THE SENSES SPA BRAND HAD GROWN INTO A LIVING, BREATHING ENTITY THAT STOOD ABOVE OTHERS IN A CROWDED FOREST (ERR… MARKET).

FRAME

FRAME STUDIO WAS LAUNCHED ON AN UNEXPECTING LONDON CITY IN 2009. IMPERO WORKED WITH THEM THROUGH THE OPENING TO HELP ESTABLISH THEIR BRAND, WEBSITE, STATIONERY AND EMAIL MARKETING CAMPAIGN. ONE RED DOG

THE CHALLENGE: MAKE A WEBSITE AS GOOD AS THE DOGS’ STEAK AND CARAMELIZED ONION PIZZA THAT MICHAEL HAS GORGED HIMSELF ON COUNTLESS TIMES BEFORE. NOT AN EASY TASK WHEN ALL WE WERE GIVEN WAS A LOGO AND A TIME FRAME. BUT NOT A PROBLEM, WE HAVE WORKED WITH LESS BEFORE. See our work: www.onereddog.co.nz

THE LATE CLUB

A DEVILISH AND SNEAKY LITTLE CLUB IN DOWNTOWN AUCKLAND HAD A DEVILISH AND SNEAKY LITTLE IDEA. OPEN LATE, VERY LATE AND CLOSE LATER, MUCH LATER. THUS, THE LATE CLUB AND ITS BRAND AND LOGO WAS BORN.

VIDEO EZY

AFTER VIDEO EZY SAW OUR WORK ON FLICKS.CO.NZ THEY ASKED US TO CREATE FOR THEM A NEW WEBSITE THAT ALLOWED THEIR CUSTOMERS TO BROWSE THEIR DVD COLLECTIONS, WATCH ONLINE PREVIEWS AND BECOME INVOLVED WITH THE BRAND. THE SITE WAS A HUGE SUCCESS, INCREASING TRAFFIC OVER FORTY PERCENT IN THE FIRST FOUR MONTHS.See our work: www.videoezy.co.nz

THE FRENCH CAFE

WE’VE BEEN WORKING WITH THIS MULTI-AWARD WINNING RESTAURANT FOR SOME TIME, BUT IT NEVER STOPS BEING A PLEASURE. OUR LATEST PROJECT WAS TO RE-LAUNCH THEIR WEBSITE WITH A BRAND SPANKING NEW DESIGN. See our work: www.thefrenchcafe.co.nz

WE WORKED WITH THE CORBANS WINE BRAND AND RE-LAUNCHED THEIR WEBSITE WITH A SLICK NEW DESIGN. IT’S ONE OF OUR FAVOURITE PIECES OF WORK OF LATE - ESPECIALLY BECAUSE IT MEANT WE GOT TO WORK WITH THE MARVELOUS KATE – QUITE POSSIBLY THE LOVELIEST BRAND MANAGER IN THE WORLD. THEY TOLD US THE MOLLY MALONES IRISH PUB BRAND WAS ALL ABOUT TELLING THE ODD FIB AND BLURRING THE LINES OF TRUTH. “NO PROBLEM”- WE SAID. THEN WE TOLD THEM ABOUT THE NEW IRISH PUB DOUBLE DESIGN FEE ACT THAT WAS JUST PASSED BY PARLIAMENT. the real story: www.mollymalones.co.nz

THE STONELEIGH BRAND WAS RECENTLY RE-LAUNCHED WITH A NEW BRAND STORY. WE TOOK THAT STORY AND RAN WITH IT - COMPLETING THEIR NEW WEBSITE IN LATE 2008. See our work: www.stoneleigh.co.nz
