The Collier County Neighborhood Stories Project is the local initiative that launched a petition against 287g last year and that marched to the Sheriff’‘s Office demanding its termination. It actively supports the immigrant community in Collier County by hosting free clinics, workshops and trainings. The Florida Immigrant Coalition is a statewide coalition of more than 30 organizations working towards equality for all.
