Mission Statement Immaculate Heart of Mary is a home for all! We strive to bring people to God through the celebrations of the sacraments and the Word of God while addressing the special and spiritual needs of the parish: the poor, the youth, the elderly, the physical-ly challenged, the family and maintaining a multi-cultural heritage.
Inmaculado Corazón de María es un hogar para todos! LECTURAS DE HOY
Primera lectura — Nuestro Salvador es un pacificador que reina hasta los confines de la tierra (Zacarías 9:9-10). Salmo — Siempre bendeciré tu nombre, mi rey y mi Dios (Salmo 145 [144]). Segunda lectura — Si por el Espíritu matan las obras de la carne, vivirán en el Espíritu de Dios (Romanos 8: 9, 11-13). Evangelio — Vengan a mí los que se sientan cargados y agobiados, porque yo los aliviaré (Mateo 11:25-30).
TODAY’S READINGS First Reading — Rejoice heartily, O Jerusalem! For see, your savior comes (Zechariah 9:9-10). Psalm — I will praise your name for ever, my king and my God (Psalm 145). Second Reading — The one who raised Christ from death will give life to your mortal bodies also (Romans 8:9, 11-13). Gospel — Come, all you who labor and are burdened, and I will give you rest (Matthew 11:25-30).
Dear Brothers and Sisters, The simplicity of Jesus’s promise is both striking and refreshing. And his simple promise is auda-cious: “Come to me.” His simple promise implies a power behind it more than sufficient to lift what weighs us down. The Gospel describes the life and challenges of discipleship, much work, few labor-ers, rejection and God’s power working through them and within them. We continue to face many challenges and the tasks are not just for a single day. They require a lifetime of faithful labor. We are all called to plant the seeds of God’s Good News and are given the power of the indwelling of the Spirit. And the labor is not our own. We are to be open and attentive to God’s presence and gifts given to us along with the strength of the Holy Spirit. We keep praying for better times and the hope to gath-er all together again.

Queridos Hermanos y Hermanas, La simplicidad de la promesa de Jesús es a la vez sorprendente y refrescante. Y su simple promesa es audaz: "Vengan a mí". Su simple promesa implica un poder detrás más que suficiente para tomar lo que nos pesa. También, el Evangelio describe la vida y los retos de ser un discipul@, mucho trabajo, pocos trabajadores, rechazo y el poder de Dios trabajando con ellos y entre ellos. Continuamos en-frentando muchos retos y la tarea no es por solo un día. Se requiere una vida de trabajo fiel. Tod@s somos llamad@s a sembrar la semilla de la Buena nueva de Dios y se nos entrega el poder de Espíritu vivo entre nosotros. Y el trabajo no es nuestro. Debemos ser abiertos y atentos a la presencia de Dios y los dones que Dios nos dio junto con la fuerza del Espíritu Santo. Seguimos orando por tiempos me-jores y la esperanza de reunirnos todos de nuevo.

A FEW REMINDERS
1) Please arrive 30 minutes before Mass. Temperatures will be checked before entering the Church. 2) Weekday mass capacity is 35 people, Sunday 70 people. 3) Offertory baskets are located at the exit or you may bring your donations to the Parish Office 4) Once 70 persons are present or Mass has started the doors will be closed. Face masks are required to enter Church.
