Oh oh oh (Again and again) Bridge My heart has been in Your sights Long before my first breath Running into Your arms Is running to life from death I know this truth deep in my chest Your mercy is calling out Just as I am You pull me in And I know I need You now CHRIST THE SURE & STEADY ANCHOR Verse 1 Christ the sure and steady anchor In the fury of the storm When the winds of doubt blow through me And my sails have all been torn Chorus 1 In the suffering in the sorrow When my sinking hopes are few I will hold fast to the anchor It shall never be removed Verse 2 Christ the sure and steady anchor While the tempest rages on When temptation claims the battle And it seems the night has won Chorus 2 Deeper still then goes the anchor

Though I justly stand accused I will hold fast to the anchor It shall never be removed Verse 3 Christ the sure and steady anchor Through the floods of unbelief Hopeless somehow O my soul now Lift your eyes to Calvary Chorus 3 This my ballast of assurance See His love forever proved All my hope is in the anchor It shall never be removed Verse 4 Christ the sure and steady anchor As we face the wave of death When these trials give way to glory As we draw our final breath Chorus 4 We will cross that great horizon Clouds behind and life secured And the calm will be the better For the storms that we endured Chorus 5 Christ the shore of our salvation Ever faithful ever true We will hold fast to the anchor It shall never be removed

GRACE ALONE Verse 1 I was an orphan lost at the fall Running away when I'd hear you call But Father you worked your will I had no righteousness of my own I had no right to draw near your throne But Father you loved me still Chorus 1 And in love before you laid the world's foundation You predestined to adopt me as your own You have raised me up so high above my station I'm a child of God by grace and grace alone Verse 2 You left your home to seek out the lost You knew the great and terrible cost But Jesus your face was set I worked my fingers down to the bone But nothing I did could ever atone But Jesus you paid my debt Chorus 2 By Your blood I have redemption and salvation Lord you died that I might reap what you have sown And you rose that I might be a new creation

I am born again by grace and grace alone Bridge I was in darkness all of my life I never knew the day from the night But Spirit you made me see I swore I knew the way on my own Head full of rocks a heart made of stone But Spirit you moved in me Chorus 3 And at your touch my sleeping spirit was awakened On my darkened heart the light of Christ has shone Called into a kingdom that cannot be shaken Heaven's citizen By grace and grace alone Ending So I'll stand in faith by grace and grace alone I will run the race by grace and grace alone I will slay my sin by grace and grace alone I will reach the end by grace and grace alone

Haggai 2:10–12

10 On the twenty-fourth day of the ninth month, in the second year of Darius, the word of the LORD came by Haggai the prophet, 11 “Thus says the LORD of hosts: Ask the priests about the law: 12 ‘If someone carries holy meat in the fold of his garment and touches with his fold bread or stew or wine or oil or any kind of food, does it become holy?’ ” The priests answered and said, “No.”

Haggai 2:13–14

13Then Haggai said, “If someone who is unclean by contact with a dead body touches any of these, does it become unclean?” The priests answered and said, “It does become unclean.” 14Then Haggai answered and said, “So is it with this people, and with this nation before me, declares the LORD, and so with every work of their hands. And what they offer there is unclean.”

Haggai 2:15–17

15 ”Now then, consider from this day onward. Before stone was placed upon stone in the temple of the LORD, 16 how did you fare? When one came to a heap of twenty measures, there were but ten. When one came to the wine vat to draw fifty measures, there were but twenty. 17 I struck you and all the products of your toil with blight and with mildew and with hail, yet you did not turn to me, declares the LORD.”

Haggai 2:18–19

18 ”Consider from this day onward, from the twenty-fourth day of the ninth month. Since the day that the foundation of the LORD’s temple was laid, consider: 19 Is the seed yet in the barn? Indeed, the vine, the fig tree, the pomegranate, and the olive tree have yielded nothing. But from this day on I will bless you.”

1. Neglecting God is spiritually unhealthy and unsafe no matter how much selective obedience we’re practicing in other areas (2:10–14).

10 On the twenty-fourth day of the ninth month, in the second year of Darius, the word of the LORD came by Haggai the prophet, 11 “Thus says the LORD of hosts: Ask the priests about the law: 12 ‘If someone carries holy meat in the fold of his garment and touches with his fold bread or stew or wine or oil or any kind of food, does it become holy?’ ” The priests answered and said, “No.” 13 Then Haggai said, “If someone who is unclean by contact with a dead body touches any of these, does it become unclean?” The priests answered and said, “It does become unclean.” 14 Then Haggai answered and said, “So is it with this people, and with this nation before me, declares the LORD, and so with every work of their hands. 2. We can’t catch spiritual health from religious activities, but spiritual sickness will contaminate everything else we do (2:10–14).

15 ”Now then, consider from this day onward. Before stone was placed upon stone in the temple of the LORD, 16 how did you fare? When one came to a heap of twenty measures, there were but ten.
