    Executive Program in Business AnalyticsConsequent to decades of information technology deployment, organizations today have moreinformation at hand about their business environment than ever before. But in many cases theinformation is not being utilized to out-think the rivals. Thus organizations are missing out on a potentcompetitive tool. Business Analytics is all about sophisticated quantitative and statistical analysis andpredictive modeling used towards building competitive strategies around data- driven insights that inturn generate impressive business results. Exemplars of analytics are using new tools to identify theirmost profitable customers and offer them the right price; accelerate product innovation; optimizesupply chains; and identify the true drivers of financial performance. A wealth of examples--fromorganizations as diverse as HSBC, PepsiCo, Amazon, Barclay's, Capital One, Procter & Gamble, Wachovia,and the Boston Red Sox--illuminate how to leverage the power of analytics. This executive long distanceprogramme is designed to expose participants to state of the art tools and techniques of analytics Theprogramme coverage would include discussion on topics such as Data Mining, Soft Computing, Design of Experiments, Survey Sampling, Statistical Inference, Investment Management, Financial Modeling,Advanced marketing Research etc. The overall value gained at the end of the programme is expected tobe a solid foundation in topics needed for building capabilities to take on the new form of competition.This executive long distance programme is designed to expose participants to state of the art tools andtechniques of analytics The programme coverage would include discussion on topics such as DataMining, Soft Computing, Design of Experiments, Survey Sampling, Statistical Inference, InvestmentManagement, Financial Modeling, Advanced marketing Research etc.

    Admission Requirements

    Professionals interested to build a career in Analytics. The programme would demand adequatefamiliarity with high-school level mathematics.

    Registration Information

    Program Fees

    For Indian Students

    Application Fee ` 2,000/-Program Fee ` 2,05,000/-Registration Fee - Campus Fee ` 15,000/-Total Fee ` 2,05,000/- + ` 15,000/-

    x Programme fees are payable online or through DD drawn in favour of HughesCommunications India Limited.

    x Campus fee is mandatory and will be payable by student directly to Indian Institute of Management Calcutta.

    x Campus fee includes Books and Study Materials Fee for the complete programme.

    x Fee once paid is neither refundable nor transferable towards any otherstudent/programme/batch

    x Initial Payment * of Rs. 40000, paid at the time of application, will be refunded completely if the applicant is not selected by the institute. This does not include the application amount of

    Rs. 2000/-

    x Applying to the programme does not confirm application acceptance/clearance of scrutiny

    x Initial payment will not be refunded if the applicant is offered a seat for the program anddoes not join before the date mentioned in the offer letter.

    x The selection offer letter is for a specific batch of a programme. Neither the offer foradmission nor the initial amount is transferable to any other program or batch.

    x Up to 80% of the Programme Fee can be availed as Customized Education Loan from leadingbanks to enable the participants to spread the repayment over a longer period. However, theapplicant shall be eligible for bank loans as per the concerned bank norms. Neither HughesEducation nor the Institute will be held responsible for any delay in disbursement of the bankloan.
