On behalf of the Independent Insurance Agents of Connecti cut, I welcome you to the 2017 IIAC Mid-Year Conventi on. This year’s event is designed to inspire you and help your agency succeed, and we appreciate your att endance today.
The morning program is approved for 3 LRE CEcredits. Our speakers will update you on the criti cal issues and trends impacti ng our industry.
Before and aft er the morning program, we encourage you to visit all of our great exhibitors to learn about the many programs and services they off er. Member agents will also become eligible to win our $500 grand door prize aft er visiti ng all exhibit booths and turning in their completed punch card.
Members of the insurance industry are known for giving back to the community. We’re excited to once again help grant a wish for a child in need. The Make-A-Wish presentati on is one of the highlightsof the day.

NAME BADGESYour name badge serves as your admission pass to the exhibit hall, the morning business program and lunch. Please be sure to wear it at all times.
DOOR PRIZESMember agents who have checked in and are present in the exhibit hall will be eligible to win a $100 cash door prize to be drawn every 15 minutes between 8:00 a.m. and 9:00 a.m.
All member agents were given a $500 Main Door Prize ticket upon checking in at the registration desk. When visiting the exhibit booths, please be sure to have your ticket punched.
Once you have visited all of the booths and have every booth number on your ticket punched, you can enter the $500 drawing. The ticket box is located on the registration desk. The door prize winner’s name will be drawn at the end of lunch. Winner must be present.

CE CREDITSAll participants wishing to receive continuing education credit must sign in. Sign-in sheets will be located on the tables at the start of the 9:15 a.m. Business Program. Sign-in sheets will be collected once the program has begun. If you do not sign the sign-in sheet on the day of the convention, you will NOT receive the CE credit.
Participants are required to remain in the room for the entire program in order to receive credit. Continuing Education certificates will be e-mailed to all complying participants within 2 weeks after the convention.
CHECKING YOUR CE CREDITSTranscripts can be obtained by accessing www.sircon.com.
• Once on the website, select “Look Up Courses or Transcripts” located under “Quick Start for Individuals, Firms & Agencies.” This will bring you to an “Inquiries” page.
• Select “Continuing Education Transcript Inquiry.”• Select “Connecticut” from the drop-down menu.• Enter your license number and last name and
click “submit.” • You will now be able to view and print your
transcript. Please note that transcripts are only accessible using producer license numbers.
