This presentation of iGuzzini recessedfittings (ground/floor) is intended to be a guide for architects, designers, andlighting designers. It presents thecharacteristics and main product plusesof the fittings, but it also specifies howthey are ideally applied to spaces.In each specific area and/or application,light responds to various needs andrequirements, and the ideal instrumentshould assist in the development of themost suitable lighting design project forthat space. We also discuss key themeslike energy savings, safety and visualcomfort. • The special anti-perspirant deviceprevents humidity from filtering intosmall openings in the cable, thuskeeping humidity from reaching theinside of the lighting body, whichcould cause malfunctions andbreakage

• The RGB Leds add a large amountof value to the lighting. They act assignals for surfaces and walkways,creating eclectic and beautifulscenery. Also, the use of a specialelectric circuit lets the fittingsmaintain a luminous quality foreach Led and each product.The electrical conditions for eachLed remain unchanged, regardlessof production tolerances.

• Led Plus can be installed two ways.With the use of different typesof outer frames (for gardensand pavements), it provides thesolutions to satisfy any lightingrequirement.

• The Light Up garden fittings aremade entirely of stainless steelthat is treated so that it is resistantto aggressive agents that couldbe found in the ground.

• These products feature an anti-perspirant device that preventshumidity from filtering into smallopenings in the cable, thus keepinghumidity from reaching the insideof the lighting body. This systemwas first introduced by iGuzzini in1995 and has subsequently beenperfected.

We have worked in and for “light”since 1958. This was the year whenthe Harvey Creazioni, a small companythat produced lamps for the home,was founded. Today we are the leadingItalian manufacturer in the “Lighting”market, and we rank among the topEuropean manufacturers.

We aren’t satisfied by simply makinggood lights. We want be the creatorsof good lighting: light that shines in aroom, a house, a building, a museum,a cathedral, a company, a plaza, anairport, and, yes... even an entire city.Good lighting has to be created withthe awareness that it has to integratewith its environment, taking carenot to invade it, darken it, or violate it.Light must be respected, and lighthas to, in turn, respect the natureof people and things.

The iGuzzini mission is therefore tostudy light, to know light and to makeit known; improving the integration witharchitecture through industrial design.Because of this, a large part of what wedo is to offer consultation on lightingtechniques, both in the design phaseand as an after-sales service.
