FORTNIGHT FOR FREEDOM 2017/QUINCENA POR LA LIBERDAD 2017 The Diocese of Raleigh invites all to attend a Celebration of Freedom Mass on Thursday, June 29 at 6:30 pm at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 2817 Poole Road, Raleigh. A reception and picnic sponsored by the Knights of Co-lumbus will follow the Mass. This event is part of the sixth annual Fortnight for Freedom, a 14-day celebration of our religious freedom from
June 21 to July 4, 2017. The theme this year is “Freedom for Mission” and will celebrate the values of our faith with respect to the gift of life, marriage, conscience rights, and many humanitarian concerns. During the Fortnight, the faithful are encouraged to pray for the intention of preserving and promoting religious freedom and to dedicate any of their regularly scheduled devotions such as Holy Hours or the Holy Rosary to this intention.
