If you say adventure, different picture comes to the mind of each of us.
We, the two fly-about Slovak girls we untraditionally bet on the
ADVENTURE WITH GOD IN AFRICA
Let´s start from the beginning:
We arrived to Tanzania on the basis of invitation of the local priest Francis, whom Emi met 10 years ago on the Italian language classes in Rome.without any doubts we have left carefree life in Bratislava and in September 2012 we have submitted letter of resignation at work. We stopped “wasting“ our money and started to save them for flight ticket, vaccination, insurance...
In January 2011 - heading to Tanzania
where Francis is waiting for us in the small
village Shelui – Our Francis – hardworking
priest full of energy and ideas.
Celebrating St. Don Bosco on the 31st January 2011 we are opening kindergarden for local children. Despite the fact that our kindergarden is catholic, you can find there not only catholics, but also Church of England followers, confessionists, moslims...
Beginnings are not easy at all. Our “classroom“ is the small porch of pastorate, retreat is the shadow under the tree.
How about starting to build a kindergarden and not to be satisfied just with the shadow under the tree? Francis deals with suppliers, Zuzi finances and Emi PR.
With the support of friends, known and unknown people,
we started to build.
Of course, Shelui parishioners participated as
well.
UNBELIEVABLE!Last touches and we are ready to welcome guests for the great opening.
Our “white“ friends brought us here not only smile but also the strong will to help, skilled hands, great ideas
and inspiration.

4th December 2011 – the Bishop comes and blesses the building with the presence of 600 people
who came to share with us the great joy!
We are trying to give them as much knowledge
as we can,
but at the same time we are
teaching them to perceive the school
as a game.

Everyday life is more beutiful thanks to our children
In September 2012 we have started another project - surgery opening, in cooperation with prof. Krcmery from University of St. Elizabeth.
Our lifes revolve around primary school right now. Every single euro, dollar or shiling from you is shifting us closer and closer to opening of the school for our little ones in January 2014.
To all of you, who stay with us and support us either by the prayer, by finances or in the form of encouraging words, let us pronounce greatfull
