The Financial Aid O� ce appreciates the opportunity to assist all admited candidates putting together the best � nancial plan possible to cover the costs associated with studying at IEU.
In order to assist students our o� ce is supported by the IE Foundation, who thanks to the generous support of students, alumni, partners,donors and several companies and organizations, allow us to expand IE�s distinguished education model to candidates with a high potential but who do not have su� cient resources.
In addition, we have excellent agreements with � nancial institutions all over the world that allow � nancing to be adjusted to every speci� c situation, o� ering preferential conditions, payments times and � exibility.
The IE Foundation is a non-pro� t organization which is an integral part of IEU whose goal is the development of activities aimed to bene� t the entire IEU community: students, professors, researchers and partner institutions.The IE Foundations’ three main focus areas are:

All admited candidates can apply for scholarships through our online application. Please make sure you apply before the start of your � rst academic year (deadline July 15th ).
How to complete your online scholarship application in 4 easy steps:
SCHOLARSHIPPROGRAM
Once you get admission to
one of our Bachelor degrees
you can access the � nancial
aid online application with
the same user name and
password you used to apply
for the admission.
When you arrive at this
step you must select which
scholarships you would like
to apply for (max. 3). It is
important that you choose
scholarships that you feel
best � t your pro� le.
At this step you must upload
the required documents
which are indicated on
the web page including all
� nancial documentation.
At this stage the Financial
Aid Committee will
evaluate your application
and will send you a
resolution by email.
Who can access the IE Foundation
Scholarship Program?
Any student admitted to IE University
(this is a student who completed the
admissions process and has received
the letter informing them of their ad-
mission to a specifi c Bachelor Degree).
When will I get a resolution?
The Scholarship Committee holds a
scholarship approval round on the 15th
of each month. Your application will be
revised in the round that immediately
follows the date your application was
submitted.
Is it important to apply before a cer-
tain scholarship round?
Scholarship rounds are organized
throughout the entire year prior to the

IE Foundation has a limited annual
fund, which is allocated in each of the
scholarship rounds, and therefore, the
funds available decrease as the year
progresses. On the other hand, certain
scholarships have a limited number
available (e.g. collaboration scholarships
from law fi rms or companies). So it
is recommended that you start the
application process as soon as you
receive admission to IE University.
What are the conditions for annual
scholarship renewal?
The Scholarship Committee will review
every July the academic performance
of the students awarded. In the event
of a satisfactory performance, the
scholarship will be automatically re-
newed for the following academic year.

My parents earn high salaries; can I still
apply for a scholarship?
It is understood that even though your
parents’ income is not minimal, it is
possible that your family has other
expenditures that may be quite costly,
such as those needed for large families,
the cost of siblings’ education, extraor-
dinary expenses, etc. When thinking
about applying, you should consider
these situations with your family fi rst.

This is a brief description of the main scholarships in the IE University student Scholarship Program.
IEU SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM
Diversity - Cli� ord Chance
APPLICATION DEADLINE
Before March 30th.
REQUIREMENTS
Scholarship designed for candidates
who demonstrate academic excellence
and an international background or
inclination. This scholarship is for stu-
dents who wish to study the Bachelor
of Laws (LL.B.). The recipient of the
scholarship will be sponsored by Clif-
ford Chance, where he or she will have
the opportunity to do an internship
and receive mentorship from one of
the � rm�s professionals.
SCHOLARSHIP AMOUNT
The scholarship will cover up to 50%
of the tuition cost of the bachelor�s
degree. The scholarship will be
renew-able in subsequent years in
keeping with the student’s consistent
academic results.
Innovative Lawyers - Cuatrecasas, Gonçalves Pereira
APPLICATION DEADLINE

REQUIREMENTS
Scholarship designed for students who
show academic excellence and an en-
trepreneurial spirit, who wish to study
the bachelor�s degree in Law.
The scholarship recipient will be

wish to study the Bachelor of Laws

Global Lawyering - PWC

and aspirations to work international-
ly and who wish to study the Bachelor
of Laws (LL.B.) taught in English at IE
University. The scholarship recipient
will be sponsored by Landwell-Price-
waterhouseCoopers, where he or she
will have the opportunity to do an in-
ternship and receive mentorship from
one of the � rm�s professionals

The scholarship will cover up to 50%
of the tuition cost of the bachelor�s

Academic Excellence

DESCRIPTION
Scholarship designed for candidates in
whatever bachelor�s degree at IE Uni-
versity who demonstrate excellence in
their academic career.
REQUIREMENTS
Aside from the general requirements
for the Scholarship Program, appli-
cants should have an average high
school grade of 9 or higher (or the
equivalent mark in their educational
system of whatever country or IB).
The general requirement of the Schol-
ars-hip Program to provide documen-
tation demonstrating economic need
is excluded for these scholarships.
SCHOLARSHIP AMOUNT
The Scholarship will cover up to 75%
of the tuition cost of the bachelor�s
degree.

United World College (UWC)
APPLICATION DEADLINE
Before March 15th.
DESCRIPTION
Scholarship designed by the IE
Foundation in collaboration with The
United World Colleges (UWC) for can-
didates of whatever bachelor�s degree
at IE University who are preparing
for the IB diploma in any of the UWC
schools.
REQUIREMENTS
Aside from the general requirements
for the Scholarship Program, appli-
cants should be studying for the IB
Diploma in one of the UWC schools.
SCHOLARSHIP AMOUNT
Two scholarships (2) will cover 100%
of the tuition of the bachelor�s degree.
One scholarship will be awarded to
a candidate from the Spanish UWC
delegation and the other scholarship
will be awarded to another candidate
from any of the international UWC
delegations.
The scholarship will be renewable in
subsequent years in keeping with the
student’s consistent academic results.
Good Academic Performance
APPLICATION DEADLINE

DESCRIPTION
Scholarship designed for candidates
of whatever bachelor�s degree at IE
University who demonstrate good
academic performance in their aca-
demic career.

IE Fellow Scholarship

DESCRIPTION
Scholarships designed for candidates
in whatever bachelor�s degree at IE
University. The scholarships are as-
sociated with the participation in the
IE Fellows Program at IE University.

acquire experience with networking
and support the development of the
University in a practical way in various
concrete projects such as, research,
representing the university, library,
student o� ce, etc.)

Personal Excellence

DESCRIPTION
Scholarship designed for candidates of
whatever bachelor�s degree at IE Uni-
versity who demonstrate excellence in
non-academic activities such as: sports,
cultural activities, social activities, etc.
REQUIREMENTS
Aside from the general requirements
for the Scholarship Program, appli-
cants should demonstrate an excellent
aptitude for a non-academic activity
(sports, cultural or social activities, etc.)
or accomplishments of a similar sort.
SCHOLARSHIP AMOUNT
The Scholarship will cover up to 75%
of the tuition cost of the bachelor�s
degree.
IEU SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM
International Baccalaureate (IB)
APPLICATION DEADLINE
Before March 15th.
DESCRIPTION
Scholarship designed for candidates
of whatever bachelor�s degree at IE
University who are currently studying
in an IB system institution in their
respective geographic areas, as men-
tioned above.
REQUIREMENTS
Aside from the general requirements
for the Scholarship Program, the schol-
arship recipient should be studying
for the IB Diploma in an IB system
institution.
SCHOLARSHIP AMOUNT
Four scholarships (4) that cover 75% of
the tuition cost. Three of these schol-
arships are designated for candidates
from the geographic areas of Africa,
Europe, Middle East, America and Asia
Paci� c, respectively, and are awarded
to candidates who demonstrate an ex-
cellent academic career and personal
background. The fourth scholarship
will be awarded to a candidate who
comes from any area of the world that
demonstrates special economic need.
Lawyering Practice and Humanities - Rodrigo Uría
APPLICATION DEADLINE
Before March 30th.
REQUIREMENTS
Scholarship designed for candidates
who demonstrate academic excellence
and humanistic curiosity and who
wish to study the Bachelor�s degree in
Law (gradual Spanish or English for-
mat) at IE University. The scholarship
recipient will be sponsored by Uría
Menéndez, where he or she will have
the opportunity to do an internship
and receive mentorship from one of
the � rm�s professionals.
SCHOLARSHIP AMOUNT
The scholarship will cover up to 50%
of the tuition cost of the bachelor�s
degree. The scholarship will be renew-
able in subsequent years in keeping
with the student’s consistent academic
results.

Young Talented Leaders Scholarship - IE Foundation Parents
APPLICATION DEADLINE
Before July 15th.
DESCRIPTION
Two scholarships sponsored exclusive-
ly by IE Foundation Parents in order to
enable outstanding students with high
personal and academic performance
to study at IE University. These scholar-
ships cover 100% of tuition fees, as well
as all other study and living expenses.
REQUIREMENTS
Aside from the general requirements
for the Scholarship Program, scholar-
ship recipients must demonstrate high
academic performance.
SiblingsScholarship
APPLICATION DEADLINE
Before July 15th.
REQUIREMENTS
Exclusively for those who have been
admitted to IE University who have
a sibling studying at IE University.
Academic pro� le and economic of the
Student will be considered
SCHOLARSHIP AMOUNT
The scholarship will cover up to 15%
of the tuition cost for the bachelor�s
degree during all the academic years
in which the siblings coincide in their
enrolled time at IE University.
IE Foundation Scholarship for Young Entrepreneurs
APPLICATION DEADLINE
Before July 15th.
DESCRIPTION
Scholarships designed for candidates
of whatever bachelor�s degree at IE
University who have begun a business
or social-oriented project during their
secondary education.
REQUIREMENTS
Aside from the general requirements
for the Scholarship Program, schol-
arship recipients must demonstrate
having taken initiative to start or
continue a social or business project
on their own.
SCHOLARSHIP AMOUNT
The scholarships cover up to 50%
of the tuition cost of the bachelor�s
degree.

IEU has various fi nancing agreement for students.
The goal of IEU is to help students that wish to
obtain a loan with favorable fi nancial conditions.
Thanks to the collaboration of some of the biggest
fi nancial institutions in Spain and with more
around the world, IEU can offer students loans with
competitive interest rates and repayment periods
up to 10 years.
Keep in mind while creating your fi nancial plan that
although you can ask for a loan for the quantity you
desire, the risk committee of any of the fi nancial
institutions that we work with, do not always
approve the quantity you request. For this reason
we recommend you apply for a loan as soon as
possible, this will dispel any doubts and allow you
time to reconsider or modify your plans.
