    A Chinese text input tool for the visually impaired (vi) iPhone users

    Based on Cantonese pinyin braille input method -

  • Cantonese pinyin braille input method

    VI persons use Braille() to read and write Each Braille paCern is represented by six dots arranged in two columns

  • Cantonese Braille Each Chinese character is represented by a

    (initial), (final) and (tone) For example

    VI user is expected to use this app with VoiceOver turned ON, Language set to , Regional Format set to HKSAR

  • 4 ways of text input methods provided: This tutorial will explain how

    to type the word (with the Braille paCern ) using each of these input methods

  • With this method, the Braille paCern is represent by its corresponding ASCII character

  • Each Braille paCern has an ASCII equivalent

    To enter the paCern , simply press h
