Beyond Borders Experience (July-December)

Internships The internship period will take place during the dates comprised between July to December, and may last a minimum of 3 months and a maximum of 6 months.
Venture LabThe IE Venture Lab was designed by the IE Entrepreneurship department in order to give its students the unique and real-life opportunity to work with their colleagues and classmates in designing, developing and launching their own business plan. Most business plans are evaluated in the fall by a board of investors who will meet to hear student pitches and determine those they wish to invest in.
Exchange ProgramAnother option of the BBE is to study abroad at one of our partner institutions around the world. Additionally, IE hosts exchange students from our partner schools from all over the world during this period.
Research Projects Depending on the level of availability of research projects in the IE, students may opt to participate as an assistant researcher with the professors.

CONNECTION TO THE CHARTERED FINANCIAL ANALYST (CFA) DESIGNATION
The three part CFA exam, when passed entitles a person to become a “CFA Charterholder”. The MFM can be pursued using a strategy to support a student seeking the CFA designation. During this year, students will have the opportunity to prepare the CFA® I exam and take it at the end of the program. During the BBE students may opt to prepare the CFA® II exam.
