Please respect private property and bird from the road only. Near Dredge Road look for Pied-billed Grebe, Wood Duck, American Wigeon, and Ruddy Duck. Tundra Swan feed in this area in the spring. At the west end of Hayden Loop Road, bird the ponds near the intersection with Canyon Road During spring and summer look for blackbirds, Wood Duck, Hooded Merganser, Sora, Belted Kingfisher, and House Wren. Along Hardy Loop Road look for migrating shorebirds such as Semipalmated Plover, Solitary and Spotted Sandpipers, Marbled Godwit, and Long-billed Dowitcher.
