I Create India has begun operations this month at Bajaj I Create Business Incubation Center at ACC&S, Ahmednagar for retiring army jawans. The BIC is sponsored and funded by Jankidevi Bajaj Gram Vikas Sanstha.

Business Ideas ranged from Grocery Store, Poultry farming, Pig farming, Garment shop, online teaching, Dairy, Marble Trading, Fisheries, Stone Crusher Plant, Cement Trading and General Stores

Entrepreneurship Awareness Program (EAP)

Participants during the awareness sessions conducted by I Create Snehdeep. I Create Snehdeep conducted five awareness sessions at Bajwa, Ranoli, Navayard and Webb Memorial School for 123 participants. The sessions were conducted by Joseph and Jitendra. Aspiring Entrepreneurs Workshop (AEW)

NEEV – IIT GN conducted a workshop for 26 participants from nearby villages and other surrounding areas. The workshop was conducted from 8th to 12th July.

I Create Rajasthan partnering with Bosch India Foundation conducted a workshop from 3rd to 5th July for 36 participants from Vimalpura, Devgaon, Bassi. The workshop was facilitated by Ranju Mehta, Hema Chawla and Sarvesh Sharma.

Participants during the workshop conducted at Bakhri, Bassi, Rajasthan. I Create Rajasthan partnering with Bosch India Foundation conducted a Workshop for 32 women from Bakhri Village. The workshop was facilitated by Ranju Mehta, Hema Chawla and Sarvesh Sharma from 9th to 11th July. Feedback from the Workshop Participants were well informed and motivated by the Bosch coordinator and they found the training useful as they learnt lot of new things about starting and running the business and also got confidence that they can now start something on their own.

Success Story for the month

Sunita Vasant Fadte follows her passion of designing clothes to become a successful businesswomen

Being a mother of three children, Sunita, wanted to help her husband and contribute to the family income. She always had the passion to learn tailoring and to make handicrafts. She was unable to follow her interest before her marriage as her parents were not very encouraging. She learnt tailoring from the self-help group near her house.

After marriage, her husband was very supportive and she decided to start her tailoring business from home. Her first customers were her neighbours. Her husband helps her in marketing her clothes and her elder daughter, who is also working in a company helps in stitching clothes

during her free time.

Sunita was looking for ways to expand her business and to earn more profit when she got to know about the I Create workshop which was organized in her home town Vasco. Not wanting to miss the opportunity to learn more about running the business she decided to attend the workshop. The training has helped her to understand more about cash flow, calculating profit and loss, book keeping which has aided her to reduce costs and expand her business which in turn had increased her profits.

Today she is a confident entrepreneur who is supplying to more customers and generates a reasonable profit. She is planning to employ few more women who can help her in her business thus generating employment to others. She has set an example in her neighborhood by becoming a successful businesswoman.
