With real ice skating, the Admiral Giant Wheel, Santa’s Grotto, family funfair, festive food and live entertainment, Waterfront Winterland will once again thrill the crowds.

Brand new for 2009 is Rocky’s Rink, a mini rink especially for children and undercover spectator area – get a rinkside seat and watch the skaters go!

We’ve got Christmas sewn up with a fantastic competition* to win a Nintendo DSi. Pick up an entry form during the Christmas Parade on 15 November or at council venues around the city and you could win the perfect gift for Christmas.

The Admiral Rink is back and it’s got company! Rocky’s Rink is a brand new mini rink for children and the only one of its kind in Wales. Height restrictions do apply so measure up against Rocky the Road Safety Rooster before skating on.

There’s tons of fun to be had at Waterfront Winterland – climb aboard the Giant Wheel and see the city from 44m up – it’s a panoramic view not to be missed! Favourites return with the traditional carousel and the Snow Storm ride, plus we’re adding a new ride this year – to be announced soon.

Festive fun

Santa’s GrottoEnjoy the magic of Christmas in Santa’s Grotto. You’ll be greeted by Santa’s elf helpers before meeting Mr Claus himself. Every child will receive a gift and an optional photograph.

Post your letter to Santa in the Royal Mail post box by 18 December and you may even get a reply!

Price£3.00 per child to see Santa. £4.50 per child to see Santa with a photograph.

During the Quadrant bus station redevelopment all bus and coach services will be running from a series of temporary bus stops and hopper services will also be operating a circular route. Park & RideTake the hassle out of Christmas shopping with Swansea’s award winning Park & Ride Service at Landore, Fforestfach and Fabian Way.
