An Adventure to the Middle East…

ICAT was chosen by a large international contractor to provide logistical service for the construction of a plant in the Middle East. This project involved a multitude of vendors from various sites around the globe. The singular goal was to ensure the plant’s construction remained on track and the materials were not delayed. Over a 6-week period close to 500,000 kilos were transported successfully with the normal challenges overcome.

A Water Park to the South Pacific…

ICAT had the challenging task of moving an entire disassembled water park from the Southern United States to a resort in Saipan, an island in the South Pacific. This project involved moving 300,000 pounds of fiberglass sides and steel trusses by ocean halfway across the world during the turmoil of two major U.S. hurricanes. The shipment was a complete success and the water park was completely assembled and ready for the peak tourist season.

Our Precious Children...

ICAT has coordinated several international shipments of a VAD to Children’s Hospitals. A VAD is a specialized piece of medical equipment that provides manual blood circulation

for heart transplant candidates (newborn through 12 years old). These moves were extremely time-critical and required approval from the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA). A spokesperson from ICAT says, “ICAT Logistics is proud to play a role in assisting hospitals across the world in delivering life-sustaining equipment to young heart transplant patients. Despite a small window of opportunity, numerous logistical challenges and the need for federal approval to ship the VAD, we were able to coordinate efforts that led to it’s delivery to the Children’s Hospital of Michigan one day earlier than expected.”
