The Ancient City of Ayuthaya

North of Bangkok Ayuthaya is the former capital of Thailand (1350-1767). Once the center of the Kingdom until sacked by Burma, today only the ruins of this magnificent

city remains. Visit the summer Palace of King Rama IV with its mixture of Thai, Chinese and Gothic architecture, a well-preserved monument from a historical period.

Cruise back to Bangkok on the Chao Phraya river.
